Before you begin, I know this is in a rather weird catergory but all the other opinions on the 'moon hoax' itself are here in this catergory too, so mine is going here too! (This opinion isn't about a book like it says, it's on the 'moon hoax'!!! Here goes.....
I know as a school kid, I'm not supposed to talk about school during my 6wks of freedom and glory and I know this opinion isn't about school but I'm just going to mention a little thing to start off with...
The last few days of school in year 9, all the set work is over, nothing else left to do, I go to a rather boring R.E lesson (Religious Edacation) to find that we have a cover teacher, yey! We won't have to do anything.
WRONG, well right in a way but we had to sit down quietly and watch a video that our supply teacher had brought with him. Damm him I thought! Anyway, what has this got to do with the great moon hoax you ask!?
Well, the video was recorded off the TV. We watched a TV program on how the moon landings were all a hoax, it was unbelievable and so real and amazing to watch, it's hard to believe that people really did land on the moon!?
'On 19th December 1972 the Astronauts of Apollo 17 returned back to Earth. They had supposedly completed the sixth successful moon landing in histroy. They had also marked the end of the Apollo era.
Back a few years in 1969 did we land on the moon!? Did anything or anyone ever land on the moon!? Did any Apollo missions ever take place!?
Now many years later many people are beginning to be pursuaded that the whole thing was a hoax. Was it or wasn't it? Did Neil Armstrong stand on the moon or did NASA create the biggest hoax of all time?
But why? What made the video that I watched so believable? Here are just a few raw facts that were mentioned in the video to make us believe that the moon landings were a hoax.
1. One of the many things that I noticed when the spacecraft landed on the moon was that there was no blast-crater. Surely when such a massive flying object lands on the moon, it will leave a mark. The surface should be blown away leaving a crater the size of the spacecraft. So why wasn't there a big blast crater where the spacecraft had landed, why was there nothing at all, suggesting that the spacecraft was purposely already situated somewhere ready to film, but not on the moon...?
2. Secondly, the video pointed out that the American flag that was left on the moon was waving in video footage of the landing. But how could the flag be flying when there is no wind on the moons surface!? There is absolutely 'zilch' air in space, everyone knows that! so why have NASA shown video evidence of the flag waving around as if in a light breeze!?
3. Another main aspect that was mentioned on the video but not in huge detail was the fact that there was no visible flame when the spacecraft took off! Again NASA footage evidence shows us this repeatedly many times. Why was there no flame, why couldn't we see it, was there one at all!? Every rocket and every space craft has to have a flame, so why was this all faked!? Maybe it wasn't, maybe the flame was meant to be invisible, maybe special formulas made the flame this way. However, if NASA cannot proove this, how can we believe them?
4. People have picked up on several occasions, crosshairs on camera pictures, however the crosshairs always seem to be behind the objects! This obviously shows that the pictures were tampered with before being shown to the world. Some people take this as a serious piece of evidence, others however like myself believe that this could have just been NASA's computers trying to make clearer images. However I do also think that the tampering of the photos could be an option.
5. I haven't really looked that far into this piece of evidence because it wasn't really mentioned on the video, but apparantly the route that the spacecraft crew took, lead them through many lethal doses of radiation! How could they have survived this!?
6. This is a common piece of knowledge that many people question, surely taking pictures on the moon would be hard!? So howcome they come out so crystal clear and always in focus? All the camera pictures are to perfection!
7. Another thing to do with the pictures taken and the quality of them is that, the cameras were supposedly positioned on the front of the astronauts suit, situated on the stomach area because basically they couldn't carry them themselves. So why are all the photos in perfect places, not an inch out of 'wack' !? The astronauts couldn't even look through the lense yet there all to total perfection as if done through a normal eyesight camera!
8. My last moan prooving that maybe no one has ever been to the moon is that in all the video footage and pictures from the moon, there are never any stars in the backround!? Why not!? Surely you can see stars from the moon?! Some say that because of the position of the sun, the stars weren't visible but I'm not sure. I think you would be able to see the stars even if there were a only a couple or few of them.
These are all my main points to the hoax itself, what do you believe, after watching the VERY convincing video I'm not sure what to believe now, I've always believed that we've been to the moon, until recently that is! Now I'm not sure, I don't know what to believe but at this moment in time, I belive that this real-life hoax could of taken place!
However I know there are many points and covor-ups that suggest that the hoax was almost impossible. So many thousands of people would have been involved, someone would have said something, maybe one of the hundreds of scientists that was involved or maybe one of the NASA crew., but the fact that no one did say anything is rather unbelivable.
Also, for every point I mentioned above about the moon trips being a massive hoax, NASA have managed to cover up and explain the circumstances. They have an answer to everything. So maybe we have been on the moon maybe we haven't? ~ I'll leave it for you to decide........
