Stephen king is renowned for his horror, but i think he is at his best with books like the green mile, a cross between a thriller\horrow which he writes in such a way that youll be turning page by page in anticipation to whats going to happen next. I finished this book in 3 days which is quite quick considering the size of the thing. This was the first and last series of novels king wrote but now all have been published, it is avaliable as one larege novel. If you have seen the movie, read the book - it is worth 10 of the movie.
