Advantages: accessible details about everyday items, would suit those into "day to day history" Disadvantages: might be out of print now, possibly won't appeal to all
I'm about to review something that doesn't actually belong to me - I bought it as a present for my dad one Christmas about eight years ago - but which I have often leafed through when in need of something lighter but still interesting. I've always been quite keen on history, initially on the royal families "Henry the Eighth and His Six Wives" side of things but as I have got older - maybe because I'm now slightly addicted to researching my own family history - I've become more interested in a more obscure side of history, the everyday "What might great-grandma have had in her kitchen cupboard and what kind of cleaners did she use to wash her kitchen floor?" puzzlements. The restaurant is an independent Nepalese or Indian restaurant, that specialise in preparing and cooking Nepalese cuisine to customers in Eastcote. Eastcote is located inNorthWest London. The store is located on Eastcote High Street which is a quite posh and upmarket area of NorthWest London. I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions including birthday and ordinary family celebrations at this venue. Located to the right of this shop is painting and decorating shop and to the left is a stationery shop.
The thing other than the local and convenient access for myself in Eastcote is that I have really been taken in by the high standards of service throughout the meal ordering and serving process. The staff are professional, attentive and courteous. The main reason I like the restaurant was based on seeing the food freshly ...
