Have you ever toyed with the idea of taking up running or jogging but didnt really know how to get started or needed some motivation to get you off the sofa? a year ago that was me, I was looking for a form of exercise that didnt involve the gym and that I could do anytime I wanted, jogging seemed perfect but how do I go about it?
Yes ok I hear you snigger, jogging is easy, you get your trainers on and get your arse outside and run. Simple. Er no it isnt as I remember from my school days how knackered and fed up I used to get from cross country runs in the summer, I would always start off too fast and end up collapsed in a heap half way round. Not good.
Fast forward 15 years and I spotted an ad for a book called Running madeEasy in a magazine, hmmm I thought that could be the book I need, An idiots guide to running in plain English ...

Indian Food MadeEasy by Anjum Anand
I'm surprised nobody has written a review on this best seller. Maybe because it is a best seller or maybe purchasers are too busy preparing the marvellous meals which Anjum Anand outlines in her recipes.
By way of background I bought this book for my wife who loves to cook Indian food and I love to eat it. So this review is being written by a final consumer of the product.
Ordered through Amazon, the book took an age to get here. It is a BBC sponsored soft-back with a glossy cover made for kitchen durability and accidents. The illustrations make your mouth salivate and the whole book supports the excellent BBC TV series. There is an introduction "The Indian Kitchen MadeEasy" which in a few but concise words puts you in the mood for what is to come. I'm not one for reading recipe books cover ...
