As an avid reader of fantasy books (yes, I am admitting to this in public!), I had often seen this guy’s books in the library / advertised, etc, but had not bothered reading them (yes, I can be that shallow that if the book cover doesn’t look interesting it doesn’t appeal to me!). Anyway, to cut a long story short I was browsing in the library the other day and came across this book, read the blurb on the back, and thought why not? All I can say is that I’m glad I did!
