I have always been a fan of the Zelda games, and they have come a long way since my first experience with Zelda windwaker that was for the game cube. I thing the storyline is very good, and there... more

Advantages Advantages An intriguing story, Wii MotionPlus is really good and its ZELDA!!!!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Might be a little easy for more experienced gamers!

First of all because the game is expensive I will like to say that you must have the Wii MotionPlus to play the game if you don't then you cant play it because it needs it for many things especially the combat and archery that the game has. The Wii MotioPlus can be bought with the game from certain places but it cost considerably more but you also get a golden Wii Remote. On its own you're looking at around £10. THE LEGEND OF ZELDA SKYWARD SWORD The Zelda games haven't really been close to being in my all time favourites up until now with the latest game The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword ... more

Advantages Advantages Best story in the series, best use of the wii's motion controls, excellent design and gameplay

Disadvantages Disadvantages Technical issues with motion controls, disappointing musical integration, repetetive side quests

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was released to commemorate the 25th year that has passed since our love affair with the series began, and for fans of the franchise, this game is quite the anniversary present. Despite having established a rich mythology and an undeniably unique universe, LoZ has always been all about innovation, and this game is no exception. After reinventing the wheel so many times, I had begun to wonder if the series was beginning to show signs of fatigue, but thankfully my concerns have been laid to rest, and I am proud to say I will always and forever be a Legend of ... more

Advantages Advantages Awe inspiring gameplay, laced with side quests (Goddess cubes, and the rest)

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some irritating characters (Fi and Groose), looks dated

Fanboy is a term that gets thrown around a lot in the video game industry, those who are diehard gamers and enjoy making fools of the n00b’s that try to challenge them. This wouldn’t be an accurate description of myself, but once – maybe twice – a decade there will be that one video game that will bring out the fanboy in me. The Legend of Zelda is one of those franchises, which has a reputation that it never disappoints. Ocarina of Time was released in 1998, and although I was too young to appreciate it at the time, it is still widely regarded as the greatest video game of all time. That was ... more

Advantages Advantages Brilliant graphics for the Wii, interactive gameplay

Disadvantages Disadvantages the games are limited by the capabilities of the Wii

Ever since I’ve had Nintendo consoles I’ve had Zelda games and even now that I have my Nintendo Wii I still can’t resist buying the latest games in the series. The franchise has actually been about in one form or another since 1986 and with the new developments in gaming technology it only seems to be getting better. The original Legend Of Zelda is still my favourite game from one of the most successful game franchises ever, but the new games with their stunning graphics are really starting to take over, but the original will remain my favourite for that reason, it was the original. Skyward ... more

Advantages Advantages follows previous Zelda games (see conclusion), really long, battling, areas

Disadvantages Disadvantages lots of conversations, can prove difficult

Introduction:As with all Legend of Zelda games, you follow Link and Zelda's story, where Zelda is put into danger and Link must save her. You live on a place above the surface world in the sky and are training to be a knight, where people worship a Goddess and there is to be a ceremony in which Zelda will play a central part. Everyone has these massive bird creatures that they fly on and Link is no exception. Gameplay:You play as Link using the Wii remote and Nunchuk walking around the land and working out how to do various new techniques such as how to dodge and roll. When Zelda falls to the ... more
