The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous is the fourth in the series and it is Jilly Cooper at her best! After all the technical writing in Polo, this is a breath of fresh air. It’s a good romp of a story with plenty of sexual tension, subterfuge and fun. Lysander Hawskley, a gorgeous kind-hearted man is trying to blot out the death of his mother by drinking and gambling. This is the fourth in the series of Jilly Cooper's romps. It is fantastic! In my opinion it is without a doubt the best of all Jilly's books. I bought this book for a holiday read and was not disappointed, so much so, that I must've read it another 5 times since then. I absolutely love it! There is just the right amount of suspense, tears and romping to keep the reader enthralled. I have read all of Jilly's books, and it's so nice to have the old characters return, I just wish she would write books more often! However, I can't see her being able to beat this particular book, it's funny, sexy ... more
