The Methuen Book of Duologues for Young Actors - Anne Harvey (Editor), Imogen Stubbs (Preface)

...do a duologue, i did the wrong thing and not research the plays background but still i managed to get an A because the plays in here are very good ones. I think possibly the best of the best duologues are in here.
The one i used 'Split down the middle', is extremely funny if performed properly. I find its too easy to judge whether something is funny or not, when rehearsal i found it pretty daft and that we'd get a bad reception. But it turned ...

There is a variety of duologues from young to old, and a good share in male and female pieces. It has encouraged me to want to get other methuen books.

I find its too easy to judge whether something is funny or not, when rehearsal i found it pretty daft and that we'd get a bad reception. But it turned out so overwhelmingly successful and funny that i have more faith in what i'm reading.

There is a variety of duologues from young to old, and a good share in male and female pieces. It has encouraged me to want to get other methuen books.
