Advantages: Great deals, helpful staff. Disadvantages: None really.

I was recently walking around the shops and I noticed a display in The Mobile Phone Store. It really caught my eye because they were offering a free WAP handset, free connection to BT Cellnet and 1200 offpeak calls for the first 3 months followed by 600 offpeak minutes for the rest of the contract period. This may sound good enough but there is more still to come.
All I have to do is to pay £15 line rental and £2 itemised billing per month for 12 months. But after 6 months BT Cellnet will send me a cheque for £50. This will then be followed by a cheque from The Mobile Phone Store for £130!! This makes a grand total of £180 so in effect I am only paying £2 per month for a brand new WAP phone with plenty of free minutes every month - what a bargain!!
Anyway, I went into the shop to get all the details on the deal. The sales rep. had only started recently but he knew what he was talking about and was very friendly - not at all pushy like some of the shops on the high street. He explained the deal to me, answered my questions and then had me sold. Maybe that is what is paid to do but it didn't take a lot of work I had to admit.
Anyway, I haven't had any problems to date and I would certainly think about using The Mobile Phone Store again, especially if they want to give me another deal like the one I got!! Unfortunately, if you want the deal I signed up for you are too late because they change the offers every month.
If you do want to find out more they are also on the web at www.themobilephonestore.com
Advantages: Good price fpr the phone i wanted. Disadvantages: Bad customer care.
...After looking around for the best prices the final decision was a Sagem connected to Vodaphone from The Mobile Phone Store. I purchased the phone and took it home. I was to discover many problems. After having it for a couple of weeks i began to realise that my txts weren't coming through and people were getting lairy at me for not replying (I wasn't getting them). After a few more weeks I discovered that when I checked my balance the messages began ... ...I decided to take the phone back and expalin the problem. It was apparently dealt with, they ohoned up a Voaphone helpline and fiddles with my phone. They then reassired me that my phone qwould now be working. It was not so I took it back a second time, and a third time. this time I asked if they could send it back. they coould ut it would take a month to come back to me and i would not be supplied with a phone for that time. I had to take that option ...

Reviews which might be of interest for "The Mobile Phone Store"
Advantages: Lots of mobiles to have a look at and read about the features. Disadvantages: Dirty store, misleading staff, expensive mobiles.
Some aspects of my review may be based on Carphone Warehouse, Harlow of which there are 2 different stores.
The Carphone Warehouse specialise in selling mobilephone, mobile broadband, laptops & netbooks.
The store is quite small and has various mobile phones on offer from 3, O2, Orange, Virgin, T-Mobile & Vodafone. They have pay as you go options or pay monthly options. The models on display are normally dummy ones so that you can feel the weight of the phone and have a closer look at the screen and the buttons etc. They do have iPhones on display and these are actual models where you can browse some of the features and see if the phone has the features you would like.
They normally have some podiums in the middle of the store which have laptops & netbooks on and these are normally available to have a play on and test out ...
Advantages: Very cheap, cheap calls Disadvantages: No bookmark facility
Although Motorola’s future in the mobile phone sector is unsure, I’ve recently picked up a great deal, which is a must for all students if you want the latest mobile phone – wireless application protocol.
The Motorola T2288e, available from most mobile phonestores, including stores such as Staples, is a great all-round mobilephone. Available on both Orange’s Just Talk scheme, or BT Cellnet, it offers the usual features, such as a standard 90 name and number telephone directory, and the usual SMS (Short Message Service) features.
Many mobile phone reviews have been quick to dismiss the technologically advanced graphical interface offered by Motorola, as it is considered very bulky and slow. However, after owning the phone for around two weeks, once used to the system, operating the phone is a breeze ...

Advantages: Good large stores with great variety Disadvantages: Very expensive
Virgin stores are reaally good and useful for music of ALL kinds. The stores also sell video's, DVD's, game consoles and games for PC's and game consoles. They also sell their own makes of mobilephones. The store which has many many branches spread across the whole of our country are all very interesting to visit. Unlike many music stores you visit, VIRGIN sells lots of different styles of music, as well as the hip hop dance, garage and R&B chart music VIRGIN also sells Classical, Soul, Rap, Country and Western and many more catergories as well, too many to say but I think your all getting the point!
So saying that the stores sell all these diferent styles of music is obviously a sign of saying that as well as the stores being a COOL place to hang out each Saturday, Parents, Teenagers, Children and even old age pensioners ALSO visit ...
