When looking for the best mortgage deal you need friendly,honest,reliable advice, that it is just what I got when I tried a broker who looked like the kind of person I was looking for. I had hears this once before when a double glazing chap was selling some windows to my mother, I didn't believe them. Well I was wrong, I have now completed my mortgage with them without an hickup and yes! you guessed it I didn't pay a penny, apparently the lender pays them, what a good idea. Anyway the whole proccess took 3 weeks from start to finish, I would recommend them to anybody looking for a mortgage. I would just like to say thankyou for a 1st class service.
I had the misfortune of using Countrywide Property Lawyers earlier this year. They were recommended by the EA Miller Countrywide. The incompetance was outstanding!
The paperwork required to complete was lost twice after confirmation of receipt by them. They sent copies of confidential documents for the property I was buying to my purchasers. They sent me copies of mortgage statements for people in Wales twice. When I asked them where copies of my mortgage statements had been sent they said it was impossible for them to be sent to other people and I 'must be mistaken' !!!
My completion date was delayed three times because of their incompetance and I eventually exchanged and completed within 24 hours as my seller threatened to pull out.
All in all an extremely stressful experience. ...
This is a really good building society, which I have been a member since I was quite young.
They always try to find the best account to suit your needs, and will happily spend half an hour or so with you discussing what kind of account will suit you.
They have a good range of banks and savings account, and the interest isn’t that bad aswell. With my account I have a card, and it doesn’t cost me to make a transaction unlike other banks which charge you £1.50.
The staff are friendly, and if I want any help or advice then they’re happy to offer their assistance.
Most people who use this bank get a mortgage or something, so they do well to cater for individual needs.
A very good building society and one that I won’t hesitate in recommending. ...

FULL OF BROKEN PROMISES....
Future made us an offer for our dream house and 7 days before the move they pulled the plug on our 100% mortgage due to reducing mortgages to 90%. They ruin peoples lives. STEER CLEAR. We had to pull out of this offer as we couldnt afford 90% and thanks to a brilliant broker, got a mortgage with a main stream lender and at a lesser rate than Future. Future have no thought as to the stress and pain they are causing to families who turn to them for help. Perhaps if there staff were trained in customer satisfaction they would learn to be more courteous. We will never ever go near them again, and thanks to Halifax, we wont need to! ...
