Partners in Crime

Advantagesunpredictable ending, mostly well acted, keeps you thinking

Disadvantagesuncomfortable seats, some unexplained parts to play

"...literary genius, but how would the works of this crime-writing expert translate to the world of theatre? I decided to find out with the help of my family and went along with great expectation. I have to say that I was not disappointed. The longest running play for nearly 50 years and long may it continue LOCATION Situated at St Martins theatre, 2 minutes walk from Leicester Square tube station, it is conveniently located for all visitors to London. ..." CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET

AdvantagesGreat suprise

DisadvantagesBit expensive

"...night other than going down the pub or out to a club seeing as I had already drunk far to much at the Christmas do the other day. I trawled the internet for an hour or so and was convinced by a friend who was to join me that the Theatre would make a change well I laughed but went along with it and logged onto the evening standard website to see what was showing in London and finally we decided that MouseTrap Agatha Christies best ever kept secret ..." Agatha Christie's MOUSETRAP

AdvantagesA wonder in terms of stamina

DisadvantagesSome may not like the dated feel

"...to attend a performance of The Mousetrap. This is something of a legend within the world of theatre, running for many thousands of performances, and this is it's 50th year! A world record. The most surprising thing about the plays is the ending. Now don't for one minute think I'm going to say whodunnit, and that's the surprising thing. At the end of the play you are asked to not reveal the answer to anyone when you're talking about it later to ..." Read review

A clever adaption

Advantagessuspense, laughter and drama

Disadvantagesa bit of a rushed ending

"The first thing that struck me when I arrived at The Mousetrap was the Theatre's exterior appearance. The red neon sign did its job of telling us we had arrived at the right place but there was nothing spectacular or intriuging about it, what one might expect from a murder mystery play. I understand its about the play itself but compared to other London theatres and their plays it didn't stand out from the rest. This did not put me off, and as I sat ..." Read review

The Mousetrap Play

AdvantagesTotal enjoyment

Disadvantagesnone

"...A play where everyone fits the bill, well it is a whodunnit after all. Set in a out of the way country house cut off by snow and a murderer in the midst. Played out with a excellent set drop i easily believed that "i was another person in the room" as i sat trying to work out who had done it. if anyone tries to tell you ,do not be put off ,they are probably wrong as they have not read or seen the play!! A well crafted story acted beautifully ..." Read review
