Is there a First Aid trainer in the house?

Advantages: You could save a life.
Disadvantages: Potentially difficult situation you could find yourself in

A person with a First Aid Certificate could save a life - they could also save your life too, if you in need of some assistance. Just say you were out in the street, and you saw an individual collapse in front of you. As you have had no training (although common sense does play a big part in it aswell), you would feel helpless because you had absolutely no idea as to what you had to do. Therefore, I would urge you to get on a course and get that proper training under your belt - as you never know just when you might need it! However, you will just need to remember that you are only there to support the injured person until the necessary Paramedic help is there. What does a First Aid involve? Get the first aid Kit - QUICK! ..

Advantages: Always there when you need it.
Disadvantages: With one in your hand you are instantly an expert.

These larger kits are suitable for large offices, factories and other places employing up to ten people in a low or medium risk environment, ot up to five employees in a high risk area.. These ratings are categorised as follows:- Low risk - most shops, offices etc. Moderate risk - Warehouses, assembly plants, light industry. High risk - Factories, heavy industry . They not only comply with H&S requirements but are also very useful, a lot of these with large workforces use the first aid kits every day. The legislation covering first aid requirements are the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Approved Code of Practice 1997. The kits themselves are made to be fitted to a wall, this is so they are always there when needed. Usually in a plastic box to keep them clean, they should be obvious to all who work ...

First men in the Moon

Advantages: Great read
Disadvantages: Nothing

First men in the moon. = Author - H G Wells. The book has a nostalgic feel to it, if feels well..quaint. We follow the adventures of Prof Cavor and his new friend Mr Bedford. Professor Cavor is an innocent genius who spends all day tinkering with new half baked inventions that he tries desperately to make work. But no more. He has, for the past several months being concentrating on his latest incredible invention, Cavorite. Cavorite is a paint, unlike any other every seen. Once applied it block gravity making the object painted weightless. Along the way Cavor meets Mr Bedford who initially is not a very nice person. Bedford is astonished to find that Cavor does not realise the magnitude of his discovery. But Cavor wants to go to the Moon and so builds a metal globe and paints the inside with Cavorite ...
