Another brilliant novel by Marian Keyes. She manages yet again to effectively bring the reader so close to her main characters, Gemma and JoJo's lives and famiies that you almost feel you're sitting in their lounge with them while they experience one drama after another. A series of emotions will be felt when reading 'The Other Side of the Story' - bitterness, amusement, sadness, empathy and a need to step in and change the consequences. Step into this book and you will feel like you're spying on the women's lives as Marian Keyes expertly reveals their deepest secrets, fears and desires as the story unravels. If you like gossip, a traditional love story with a twist and a good old girly cry mixed in with some belly aching laughs, this one's definitely for you!
the three stories together in one chapter, you always get every side of the story. And that's what the book is about. To see the otherside of the story and not only yours. For me the interaction of the characters is missing but other than that there is nothing wrong with this book.
The story or the type of the book is a funny romance. Yes, of course there is a love story involved! But I have to admit that the reason why this book appeals to me so much is probably because it is all about writing. A literary agent and two writers, of which one works as a party organiser and the other one stole her boyfriend and had a baby with him.
My verdict: I LOVE this book and the next thing I am going to do is buying MarianKeyesother books!

With eight other bestsellers under her belt, MarianKeyes has unsurprisingly done it again with her newest novel 'The OtherSide Of The Story'. Having read only 'Angels' by Marian, I was unsure of what to expect as, although Angels was good, it wasn't outstanding and when I bought this I was looking forward to seeing if there was more to Marian than what I'd seen so far.

the story is different from her other novels it is in sections sort of like Lilly's story..Gemmas story.. I find this is a good way of writing and it all comes together in the end.
I read this book in bed, at work, out shopping and even on the exercise bike at the gym I enjoyed it so much, it lets you escape totally I cant wait for the next MarianKeyes novel each one is better than the last keep them coming please.. But remember "there is always the otherside of the story!!"
