A lovely entertaining cookbook .

Advantages: -
Disadvantages: -

. Overall, the recipes are pretty achievable, I haven't seen anything in there I would rule out trying altogether either because of skill levels or problems sourcing ingredeints, and I certainly intend to try out more of these recipes in the future . I recommend this cookbook, because it is MORE than a cookbook . You can pick this up with no intention of cooking and be entertained by the bikers tales of getting lost in a one way system, or getting very drunk sampling beers. The recipes are great and varied, the photos are colourful and bright, and overall I just love this book. The cover price is 20 quid, but of course you can get it much cheaper if you shop around online, ...

Student Survival - with a Student Cookbook

Advantages: cheap recipe ideas, helpful for beginner cooks, informal style
Disadvantages: no pictures, some recipes are a bit too adventurous

the cloth wasn't too damp) without ruining it. In fairness, the laminate isn't the first thing about The Student Cookbook that you'd notice - the bright orange and sunflower yellow with big white dots filled with words like "comfort", "cheap", "quick", "fast", "mates" arranged in a grid on the cover might be, though. I always kept mine in my room but it would easily have fitted in my cupboard if I'd been able to find space. The first thing I liked - although I don't think I noticed it before buying - is that the introduction is ...

Review of The Student Cookbook - Hamlyn

Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow

Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none

I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from ...
