I couldn't put it down, I just wanted to keep reading and I would stay up ... ...this chapter.' The book was full of so much emotion, that you just knew that it was all true. It never ceases to amaze me how he was able to pass across so much hurt, pain, anxiety, happiness and all the other emotion with very few words. What makes this book s heart rending is that as humans we tend to sympathise but in this book you will most certainly empathise, not just feel sorry for him but you could almost feel his pain and sadness that you ...

...sales. This one is the fourth in the series and is based on David's teenage years. I found the book to be a quick and easy inspirational read.
During the book David stays in a series of foster homes. He tells the story of his secondary school years and his continued experience of being bullied. The sense of David's isolation really comes across strongly in the first part of the book. He tells about his fears of becoming homeless when he become 18 ... ...to Duinsmoore Way he experiences the joy of making his first real friends and having normal teenage experiences. Due to his abusive upbringing he places a lot more significance on having friends than most teenage boys. He starts to enjoy his freedom and is driven to do more and more dangerous stunts in his quest to be accepted by his new friends. However this does not win the approval of the adults in the neighbourhood!! These he wins over gradually, ...
