NINTENDO DS LITE

Advantages: touchscreen makes playing video games fun
Disadvantages: some of the games are based for kids

The Nintendo DS Lite is a handheld games machine thats fun for all the family. it bascilly a portable version of the nintendo WII, instead of a wiimote you have a stylus pen and you use it on the DS touchscreen to control the game. i had my DS lite for a year and its worth every penny. its also got wi-fi tecnology so you can play online with friends and family. there is also a big catalogue of games from kids games to movie tie ins ie g force , ice age 3 . then there is the amazing brain training which is amazing fun then there is mario kart which is fantastic . the nintendo ds lite is so easy to work. the ds comes with a built in battery and charger, so there is no need to buy batteries which is a great thing its self. ...

Nintendo DS Lite

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: None

I recently gave in and bought myself a Nintendo DS Lite and am delighted with this product. I am not one for platform games and am using mine to excercise my brain matter and have bought both Brain Train and Scrabble. Brain Train is good but a bit limited in what you can do but the Scrabble game is excellent, I spent a nine hour flight to Orlando glued to this game. My daughter and I have both sycronised our DS lites and are both playing Battleships against each other. As I am not a computer boffin I was a bit concerned about using the DS but it is really easy and self explanatory even for me! I would highly recommend this product not only for the entertainment value but because it works the brain, I am now beating my husband at Scrabble which is an achievment in itself! ...

Review of Nintendo DS Lite

Nintendo DS

Advantages: Touch Screen, Affordable
Disadvantages: Bad graphics with most games

After already owning a PSP I felt I had all the handheld gaming I needed however many of my peers owned Nintendo DS' so I thought I would buy one in conjuction with the release of Pokemon Diamond after being a big fan of the series and I liked the potential of the DS. The main reason for the DS' success has been marketing as well as affordability and game selection. The marketing campaign which is very popular with nintendo is connectivity which is extremely true with 98% of all DS games using connectivity around the world, with friends and even with a Nintendo Wii. The selection of games for the DS are great for both old and young with many ideas from looking after a pet dog to testing your brain and now you can play a guitar on it. However is you are critical on graphics then the DS is not a great console for that as only one ...
