a few hairs. This problem has gotten worse the more I wax. I think because the hair is getting finer and more sporadic, it is more difficult for the wax strips to pick it up. I tend to go over my legs with an epilator after I have waxed. Although this might sound like a pain, it does mean I get the majority of the hair off quickly and painlessly (relatively!) with the wax strips and then the epilating doesn't take very long and doesn't hurt much because it is only picking up a few hairs.
I find ready to use wax strips far superior to proper wax - it's cleaner, easier and from my experience, far more effective.
These strips are very reasonable as well. About £5 for a box in Boots. A box lasts me two waxes so it's only £2.50 per go, compared with about £10 in a shop. Bargain!

Dale asks the reader to never read more than one chapter at once. To read each preferably twice before continuing, and to underline key phrases as you read. I went one step further and wrote out these phrases into a journal as I went along. Let me tell you, this is a very different reading experience to a novel! Being advised to this of this book as a 'reference book' after finishing; readers are reminded that yes. To actually succeed, this book must be truely understood and remembered.

A relatively easy book to devour with 200 or so pages; the different approach that Allen Carr takes is based on the psychological aspects of stopping smoking as opposed to the physiological Nicotine Replacement Therapy or NRT that patches, pills and gum all fall into. He asserts that these simply replace the problem rather than getting under the skin of the addiction.
He puts into place, the principal that we all hate smoking (I do) it isn't natures way for us to constantly poison ourselves (it isn't) and that through the willpower method we feel like we are missing out on those beautiful cigarettes that will ultimately kill us.
