At last, a recipe book that doesn't have me flicking the pages looking for lists of ingredients less than 30!!
I have always been put off trying a recipe of the ingredients looks just too complex but with Jamie Oliver most of the recipes, if not all, are pretty easy to make. Plus, the ingredients are not listed down the entire page!
This must be the first book where I have tried recipes and have success each and every time - first time! The recipes are, first of all, mouth watering just to read but they are also so easy to make. The pictures look awesome and you find yourself thinking I couldn't possibly do that. But I did so you could too.
I am one of these cooks who throws things in the pot and doesn't follow recipes very well but I found his recipes easy to follow - a big plus in my book.
Salad of boiled potatoes, avodaco and cress Fragrant Thai Broth Farfelle with Savoy Cabbage, pancetta, thyme and mozarella prawn and pea risotto with basil and mint fantastic fish pie Botham Burger strawberries marinated in balsamic vinegar chocolate pots
and intending on trying a few more!!

Advantages: Wide range of recipes from everyday to special occasions, clear layout and photos Disadvantages: Not a cook book for those who aren't fans of Jamie!
