I won't give too much away here in this review, as I find it would be totally unfair for anyone really wanting to read it. There's not much fun reading a review on a book, only to be told the ending. That would really grate on me. So I shall start on a few basic liners of the story.

Christmas day arrived, low and behold my baby sister had taken note and bought it for me. I unwrapped the book and was taken away by how beautiful the front cover was. It was the hardback edition, which also came with a little note book style flip book which reveals itself as one of the characters documents that help solve the riddles.

The story unravels in the year 2003. Will Stafford, a carefree traveller, inherits a key and ancient script with an enigmatic note. Passed down from his Mother. Will, intrigued, decides to set off to Europe to see if he can unearth the riddles and decipher the mystery. Tragedy hits. In London, a young lady; Lucy King is awaiting a serious heart transplant and somehow becomes entangled in Will's adventures and works closely with Will's brother (and also her doctor) to work out exactly what it all means and just how important this legacy is.
This book is jam crammed with romance, mystery, adventure and puzzles galore! It does have it's downside though, it took me a while to get into and fully understand what was happening. After a few chapters I was well and truly hooked and often found myself unable to put the book down and turn the light out. Exactly what you want from a novel.
My sister paid around £12 for this book and I am unsure where she bought it from (possibly Amazon), but I have had a little search around myself and this book can be picked up from Amazon for a couple of quid. Granted it would only be the paperback, but still well worth it.
