    Advantages Advantages Great story and characters, well written, very enjoyable

    Marion Bishop feels like her life has fallen apart around her. Her 9 year old daughter Hope was killed in a hit and run accident, and the police have never found who did it. Marion's also managed to push away her husband Sam, the only person she has left in the world, and now feels in the depths of despair.     I did not read the blurb when I chose this book out of the library but chose it because it had a bright cover and a quirky title. It was bound to be about a woman on the verge of a midlife crisis, wasn't it? Wrong! This book is based on the main character, Marion, coping with her grief after losing her only daughter, Hope, in a hit-and-run accident. Hope was 9. Marion feels quite guilty that she is pushing her husband, Sam, away but I think that her feelings are understandable. In fact, Marion feels a lot of guilt throughout the book and she blames herself too for Hope's death. Marion has a ... more
