The share centre is easy to setup and join. The website is very easy to use and you can use it to make FTSE and Aim investments.

I've made around 50 trades using this website and it costs 1% or minimum of £7.50 per trade, meaning that if your planning on making any trade greater than £1500 i'd advise that you use another broker that have a fixed fee regardless of the trade size.

The research section is alright but isnt sufficient for AIM companies, however they do have recommendation and weekly/monthly tips. Generally the companies are well researched and they recommend a year growth prospective and not short term.

You can also search for companies based on their risk, income etc..

The phone support is good and generally i've not had to wait long to speak to an advisor, however their phone advise isnt much different from the online tips as they seem to have around the same amount of information.

I've found the RNS updates are missing for smaller AIM companies and have need to resort to other methods to find more information on companies.

Overall i'd say it is a good website for beginners(theres also a virtual trading environment with no real money just to learn before making real trades), however if you wish to invest large money/or make regular trades i'd recommend you use a different broker or open up a paid membership account to reduce the transaction costs.
