...A typical page in the book shows an episode title, details of what happened and the story line, followed by comments from characters, things you may have missed and the chalkboard gag. On the side of every page is details of a (new) character featured in the programme, eg. who they are, what they do, and how they behave etc showing their quote in a speech bubble. ...my opinion changed. The book includes episodes from seasons 9 and 10, so you will probably run across a few episodes that you've missed. This is definitely a good point - while the synopsis of each episode is brief, it does provide a much better description than a TV magazine, and a pretty good overview of the plot. By far the best part of the book however, is the little things. Each episode description contains some "Show Highlights" from each ...
...have missed when you watched the episodes. There's also a well-done description of a minor character in the margin, at the rate of one per episode description. These include some background info plus a picture. ...am a big fan of the Simpson’s. The book covers episodes from season 1 to 8 and every episode is covered. I found the episode descriptions very useful and covered the episode very well, the quotes the books pointed out were very good and even captured some of the best. I have to also point out the pages that show information on all of Homer’s Mmmm sayings and Krusty Brand products featured in the episodes cover plus there is loads more for these lists!
