During the game you need to utilise each of the Simpson family members special abilities to progress through certain levels. Homer, after he's ate enough food, can turn into a giant ball and knock people and objects over, he can also fill himself up with helium at a tank and fly for a certain period of time. Bart can turn into Bartman which allows him to glide and climb up certain walls. Marge can gather a mob and command them to attack certain targets. Lisa can go to a buddha statue, from then on she can unleash lightening and pick up then move certain objects and finally Maggie can crawl through small spaces. ...is quite a good game. The In-game movie clips at the start and end of levels are good quality, with the proper character voices and everything. The levels are wacky and weird, as you start off with a chocolate level with Homer chasing a white-chocolate rabbit. The cons of this game are:
> The Camera is hard to manuver to the point you like (this is even worse with homer and even more worse with Homer Ball)
> You can't save the game where you are, ... ...it, you have to complete the level entirely so you are back in the Simpson's house to choose another level.
> No Game-Sharing function, so people with other PSPs/ps2s can't connect to the game to the host's simpson's game.
> Everything in 2D, no 3 Dimensionality in the game, like Hit & Run.
Pros:
> Better loading time (by far) from the Simpsons Skateboarding Game, Simpsons Hit & Run and Simpsons Road Rage.
> Players can switch between 2 characters ...

cut scenes are of high quality, some were a bit long.No free will though, you have to do the tasks in each level in a set order, so finding collectables were hard.I enjoyed that you can choose from 2 of the family members in each level or have a friend or family member play as the 2nd simpsons family member.The camera angle while playing two player was annoying, couldnt see where your going and couldnt change it easily. ...

I gotthis as christas present fro someone as the price was very very good. You can get the PS 2 almost everywhere now but it was very hard to find the silver version. The new Slimline version makes it very easy to carry and transport, it can be carried anywhere.
The bargin i went for was based on the price, after shopping around i found that GAME sold the best deal - IN SILVER!!!
For £114 i got the new silver playstation 2 with 1 joystick and 2 games. It was good that there was a choice to chose on and i got a simpsonsgame and a car racing game. Other games they were offering were fifa football and a fighting game.
The onl down side to having the playstation 2 in silver is that the memory cards are limited, nearly everywhere has sold out. So if you do buy this in silver be aware you may need to order a memory card with a long ...

Great console. I have owned this for over 2 years and its been great! It has plenty of games including Gran Turismo 4, GTA San Andreas, The simpsonsgame and loads more. The graphics on this console are also pretty impresive too. Gran Turismo 4 takes the PS2s graphic level to its limits and also tests your driving skills while your at it! The PS2 has many other accessories, for example, the EyeToy, steering wheels with force feedback and you can even connect a USB memory stick and play music from it on the PS2! Also, the PS2 can be connected to the PlayStation Portable allowing certain games to sync up with each other to earn certain rewards within the game. Overall, I think the PS2 is a brilliant gamingconsole and I think anyone who loves PlayStation should definitely purchase one! ...
Simpsons Hit and Run for the PS2 is a quite average game. You play the game as different characters through out, including Bart, Lisa, Marge and Homer, you complete different challenges to unlock new cars, get rewards or it may just be in the interest if the character in line with the story to complete the missions. You also come across other characters when completing missions like Doctor Nick, Mr Burns, Smithers and many others.
The graphics in this game are very bright and cartoony, they are much a like the Simpsons cartoon graphics, they are much more square though which leaves the characters looking a bit different to the cartoon, the graphics arent very impressive, though they do not ruin the game either.
I bought this game over a year ago for around £15, however I am very sure that you could get it much more cheaper ...
