The gameplay might not be anything amazing or special but it is worth taking a second look and giving it a try and you never know you could like it.
You take on roles as all four of the yellow skinned, four fingerd, quartet, this game has humour to spare.
Several of everyones favourite episodes are displaye quite efectively, you'll see such goods as the land of chocolate, super happy fun fun Homer, Lisa trying to stop the lumberjacks ...

You are pitted against some of the classic enemies, like side show bob, the comic book guy and several others, you gain new abilities as you traverse through the game, some of the powered attacks are different and some better than others, but truly homer is put across as the cooles of the foursome as he has the Fat Homer Transformation and the Gummy Homer Transformation.
But it is not without its flaws.
The sony psp is let down with out having a right analog stick so players of this game are forced to hold the left trigger to change the view of the camera whils in gameplay.
The graphics are real cartoonish and make you feel as if your in the simpsons world, it has real authenticy like you see every sunday night, you'll even see other Matt Groening characters that you won't suspect coming,.
The visuals of the game are a little less looking foward to, featuring a visual style that is not one of tv broadcast but one of fan art.

The simpson game will not draw you in because of graphics or because of superb gameplay but because of the stacks of humour it supplies, it's something definately worth buying and having a try, great game for a great console, the only thing thats a bit of a drag, is the camera view chaning.
I give it 4 stars overall on how much I liked it and enjoyed it when playing
