I love the Sims so much I cannot stop playing it, it is addictive and when you play you just want to see your created Sims get to the next stage in his life. If you pay attention to detail looking after your Sim and not neglecting them they will progress to the next stage of life.

Made by ea games and maxis the leading game software developers. So you know you can rely on them for bringing you the best in game play and they have certainly done that when they developed the Sims. This game was a spark of imagination and has earned them the fame and fortune as game developers that we know them for.
The box is black and very stylish with a picture split into three parts with the Sims bustin out logo in the middle of the three pictures. The design on this box is above average and makes you think about the game and want to play it.
Top left has a sim bustin out on her moped. (Bustin out means moving away from your family home). This is what the Sims are used to and it comes as second nature to a Sim to bust out.
Second right side show a snapshot of a rather lively sim living it up in a night club of her choice, and incidentally the dj with the afro on the front is Randy from in the game itself. I think the design on the box is really good and gives you a good idea what the game is actually about.
At the bottom left is a picture of a relaxing Sims luxuriating in a Jacuzzi looking typically pleased with his newfound independence. Independence is particularly important for a Sim who has needs just like any other human does except this one is a computerised human.
On the back of the box is a good write up on the game play with some nice graphical funny pictures also it has the age classification printed here as does the front which is ages 7+. I think that younger people could play it, but due to the nature of the game I wouldn’t think it was wise for a younger person to play it. It’s not like you get to see the Sim naked it does cover their bits up, but the game play involves things like making out with other Sims.
The game consists of free play mode and Bustin out mode, free play mode is no challenges or pressures you get a free $20.000 to build your dream house with the great build menu everything you need to build a house of any kind you want. (My latest project is a triangular house for my Sims wife to live in whose name is lol ima itchyanus) Right from the floors to the inside comforts everything you need is there apart from those not unlocked in Bustin out mode as everything you unlock in bustin out mode gets unlocked in free play too. As you progress through the game certain objects get unlocked like different beds or entertainment systems I think this is the game developers way of rewarding the player.
The Sims game play is truly a marvel when I first heard about this game I wanted it just from what people said about the game play. I did at first find it quite daunting, but when I got into it I soon got the hang of things. You start in mom’s house everything you need is here bathroom, kitchen, living room, patio and lots of things to entertain your Sims.
The menu’s are great in the free play and bustin out mode when you press up on the joy pad this brings your Sims stats menu up these consist of: Food, washing, sleep, social, comfort, toilet, fun, house. Above each one these is an active bar coloured either green and red, so for instance if you send your Sim to the toilet by clicking on the toilet while the bar is red he or she will go to the toilet and the bar in the life stats menu will fill up with green again if not they will wet themselves and well you don’t want that now do you.
This works for all the others like food red bar on the food icon means you Sim is hungry so click the fridge select a command and make them cook dinner they eat, bar fills up, their happy, your happy, and their boss is happy send them to work in a good mood and they get a promotion and earn more money.
Another menu is the skills menu this includes in its contents is cooking, mechanical, creative, body, logic, and charisma these all help when working towards a promotion this is where through different things you get your Sim to do for example playing a electric guitar increases their creativity all these skills are needed as you move on in to deeper level of your career track so work hard, play hard, and remember have fun. I just think it’s so important to persevere and not to give up.
There are also plenty of cheats and walkthrough’s on the Internet that have helped me, but I prefer to play without cheat’s just walkthrough’s. A handy cheat for you is while your in another location if you are stuck and cant complete the goals move back to mum for a bit as your bus does not come to mum and you still have your job when you go back to your original place, although you don’t earn money at mum answer the phone at every opportunity as people give money out over the phone (great hay) this is great for recouping your energy and skill level’s. J
In Bustin out mode you create your Sim from scratch from their first and last name also male or female, white or tanned, big or small, nice or grumpy, outgoing or lazy, hair colour, face, eyes, facial hair, and every outfit you can imagine from the professional look of a smart suit to outrageous hats. This can be so much fun as you may imagine. My wife and I have often had fun creating the most outrageous outfits we could think of just for the fun of it. We also create Sims that look amazingly like people in our family or people that we know. Once we created a Sim that looked a bit like George Michael.
The game starts in your moms house and this level is short so I will tell you all about it to get you in the mood to go out and buy this. Mom is your usual type of caring mom with her quirks too, she is an old woman with a green facemask by now and needs you (your created Sim) to sling your hook and get off your behind and get a job. Mom is also very annoying she needs lots of attention and if she doesn’t get it she starts to cry. You wouldn’t want to make your mum cry would you?
The object of this first level is really easy a nice taster of what is to come in the later parts of the game.
Objectives are: 1. Click on speed up game. 2. Empty your bladder (simple enough) 3. Fill your stomach. 4. Do fun stuff. 5. Get a job.
Dudley’s trailer is next you will spend a while here if you are new to the game, there are a few more objectives here.
My hints and tips for this game for success is plan ahead and always keep in touch with your friends.
Throughout the Sims Bustin out you work your way up the ranks of various careers these are as follows:
Gangster: Fashion victim: Counter culture: Parliamentary: Jock: Movie star:
Plus there are four more other careers to work your way up with in free play mode.
Anyways play the game and have fun it will take you a while to turn it off but hey stick with it and remember if you work hard in your newfound career you could end up living in a mansion wearing a big white hat?????
The price: anywhere from £10- £25 depending on where you buy.
Advantages: A vast improvement on The Sims Disadvantages: Online modes could be better
The Sims was okay but clearly not great so will The Sims Bustin Out be any better?
The Sims Bustin Out is different from its preddecessor in a few ways. Firstly now you can visit places in the game. There are 16 locations in all including:- Pixel Acres a nudist colony, Club Rubb a dance club, The Octagon military base, Casa Caliente a romance house, Studio 8 culture museum, Shiny Things lab a scientists labatory and Dudley's Trailer which is always ... ...As within the last game you have the main "Bustin Out" mode which has the same principle as the "Get A Life Mode" in The Sims. You start off at mum's house having to do basic jobs like clean the rubbish up and look for a job. To get a job though as you progress you will need certain skills. Depending on the career track you take the skills you require will differ. There are 12 new careers to choose from including Movie Star, Counter Culture, Mad ...

The Sims lets you control a whole host of virtual characters. See to their needs, climb the career ladder, fall in love, start a family etc. In "The Sims: Bustin' Out" a new slant is given. Mobility - hopping in your vehicle and visiting your neighbours to make friends and beat goals.

You create one adult sim and play out his or her life, as you progress you can temporarily control roommates and eventually family members, however the gameplay continues to revolve around your one sim. Move out of Moms and eventually move to a mansion with your partner and kids. Sounds simple? It's not as simple as ...

Advantages: Educational according to new studies. So fun, so evolved. Disadvantages: Damn addictive.
I bought the Sims2 as soon as it came out after being addicted to the Sims on ps2 and The SimsBustinOut on ps2.
A big downside to the game, is that it requires a top notch computer. At the time of buying the game, I had a computer that was about 5 years out of date, so the game would not play. In the end, I actually bought a new computer, not just for this game but I can't think of any other reason as to why I bought it. Yes, I do probably need rehab for this game.
It is so addictive. There have been days and nights of constant simming. Why? Well....
The Sims2 allows you to almost play God. You can control genetics and babies and toddlers and children, pensioners - all ages... You can control what they wear, eat, do, when and if they have sex, if they are straight, gay or bi... smart or dumb too, oh and rich or poor ...
Advantages: Still Addictive if you can play it Disadvantages: Very slow unless you have a very fast computer
I have been addicted to The Sims since they first came out and have brought every game since up to and including Makin' Magic and Sim Superstar. I have even brought The Sim games brought out for the Playstation 2 up to and including Bustin' Out. However, after waiting for ages for The Sims2 to come out I have to admit to being disappointed with it. It is still as addictive as ever (if you have a fast enough computer), the only problem is that it is so slow that out of one hour of being on the computer I probably get to actually play for about half of that time. Admittedly this could be because we need a new computer, but on the other hand all of our other games play well enough.
The game itself is fascinating with yet more challenges facing the player. I am of course referring to the aspiration meter. This is where you keep ...
Advantages: easy to pick up, addictive Disadvantages: bit too addictive, limited appeal?
the inhabitants happy. They then moved onto simply The Sims, where you just had to keep one (or more if you could be bothered) Sim happy.
The first time my friend Paul told me about The Sims, I thought what an utterly pointless pursuit it would be, and then I spent about eight hours solid playing it.
DO I HAVE TO HAVE PLAYED THE OTHER SIMS GAMES TO ENJOY THIS?
Not at all, it isn?t an add-on pack, and there?s no storyline you have to follow which goes through the games. Obviously playing the other Playstation 2Sims games (?The Sims? and ?The SimsBustin? Out?) will be good practice as the controls are the same, but otherwise it?s a standalone, which is an expansion on the other Sims games.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT TO THE SIMS GAMES ON THE PC, OR THE OTHER PLAYSTATION SIMS GAMES?
The PC games, and all their expansion packs, I always found ...
