You can play on two different modes on LS ? the story or the free play mode. The story mode is as I?ve explained earlier with Riley and Vince?s story. With the free play mode, it?s basically what you play on Sims 2.
This game is extremely easy for those who have played Sims 2, as it uses the same format and functions. For those who haven?t played it, you control the Sim?s everyday action. Your Sims must get involve in mundane tasks (like humans), in order to survive longer. So they will be doing chores such as cleaning the toilet, watching telly, painting and cooking.
The adult Sims can have babies, which will grow up into toddlers ...

About a year ago I loved playing on the Sims 2 games.
I paid £14.99 for this game from play.com
Id purchased : The Sims 2 University, The Sims 2 Nightlife, The Sims 2 Open For Business, The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff Pack, The Sims 2 Seasons ,The Sims 2 Bon Voyage and of course last but not least the Sims 2 pets .
The thing that appealed to me the most about purchasing the expansion and stuff packs were the fact they offered great new furniture, hair styles, clothes, dialect, houses, cars and many other things my Sims could experiment.
Buying the expansion packs made playing on the Sims 2 so much more entertaining, when you buy a game and you play it religiously after so long you get bored of it but with the large choice of expansion and stuff packs available you always had ...

, or simply by completing daily tasks such as cooking or cleaning. As your sim is learning a skill there is a little bar above their head which gradually fills up until you get a skill point.
Your sim will need to find a job in order to earn money, jobs can be found in either the newspaper, which gets delivered every day, or on a pc if you can afford one!
Once you have a job you then have goals for certains skills or numbers of friends, which are required before you will get promoted.
Friends are made by interacting with another sim, in person, on the telepone and also chatting via the PC. You can make friends, fall in love or make enemies depending on which actions you choose.
So that is the basic idea of the game and in the freeplay mode it really is all up to you how you play the game.
