To be honest I think it keeps him sane, or his he just a pathetic male that likes to read outrageous stories and look at naked women during his lunch breaks.
I must admit I sometimes browse through it to see what wild stories they have printed for the day. (Maybe the queen has been video taped using the rampant rabbit vibrater and they have it plastered on the middle page. Well not to everyone’s taste but I defiantly get some smiles whilst reading some of the stories the paper includes in it. So a bit about the layout. It always has an eye-catching title on the front-page e.g. Cilla Black topless inside. Or a story about a footballer whose having sex with a page three girl. The second page is usually about politics or the royal family. (Usually something untrue and bizarre but can be quite amusing depending on your mood). The third page well I think it must be tradition now for The Sport to find cracking babe to make the lads drool. The paper will then chose selected pages to embarrass stars such as Her, say. (Myleene stunner confesses to wanting a threesome with Kim and Suzanne. The paper will almost defiantly treat you on an update of what’s going on in the big brother house, or will have digged out a very embarrassing photo’s of your past to splash all over the page. Tony Blair is usually in it somewhere with an artical a side him with numerous complains and swear words. Jordan the sexy babe whose sex life is a bit exciting to say the least always seems to be in the somewhere, flashing her boobs. “Jordan - who loves anal sex, enjoyed a three-in a bed session with the Sport girl Alicia Duvall and Dwight York. Alicia dated Dwight before he met Jordan (fascinating stuff this). The paper is jam backed full of advertisements on anything from “ bored house wives wanting to have sex with you over the phone”, to Mobile Phones to D.N.A Paternity testing even some kinds of diet pills. It gives you (I must say) an excellent choice ring tones and phone slogans, anything from Playboy to X Men. There is an Agony Aunt section - this is one of my favourite pages it is totally stupid most of the time. It's usually about sad people e.g. “I can’t get my hands on enough boobs. They must be about 37 inches before I will ask a girl out. He then goes on to say ” I m really worried is there something wrong with me”(well I’m not going into that one). You’ll find the odd crossword that is not to bad there is only a few solutions such as strip and boob. It’s got loads of pages on sex videos and few at the back on sport.
Oh and my favourite page of all are the, At The Courts. These stories are really interesting some include serious stuff but most just go on about women having sex and men being caught shagging cows while on there way home from the pub.
Great for a laugh, enjoyable to read, but I’m still wondering if anything in it his actually true.
It costs 40p for the Daily sport. It costs 65p for the Sunday Sport.
Advantages: can be highly titilating at times Disadvantages: if you want to know what's going on in the world - forget it
...other wholly unbelievable ‘stories’ are the kind of ‘tat’ can be found within the pages of the infamous Daily Sport. Just about anything to do with Sex, Soaps, Cel;ebrities – some of it is even true….not much I grant you.
They will put a certain ‘spin’ on any kind of story. You’ll see headlines like “Coronation Street star in drugs bust” or “Soccer star in gang bang sex scandal”. ... ...is that the Corrie ‘star’ is some little known actor who had a walk-on part in the soap five years ago – and the drugs bust happened at a nightclub that he goes to occasionally and didn’t concern him anyway! Oh yes that ‘Soccer star’ – the lookalike of as Premiership foreign import that appeared in a third rate porn movie in 1998. Yes, THAT ‘Sex scandal’ ! Nasty rumours abound that ONCE – ...

Advantages: Funniest daily read available. Disadvantages: Too many advertisements.
The Daily and Sunday Sport are not exactly everyone's
cup of tea but for raising a smile this paper cannot be beaten.
The Daily Sport costs 40p so is slightly more expensive than most main stream papers however the Sunday Sport costs 65p which is more competitively priced but neither are going to break the bank.
They are titled Sport but only eight pages of the sixty odd pages mention sport, the vast majority of the paper is devoted to sex and ... ...to be a secret.
The Sport devotes a couple of pages to the going-ons at the courts and these are the few stories where there is a basis in fact. However even these stories are either sexually based or relate the story of how a highly intelligent southerner went looking for a gas leak with a lit match. Today a woman received £20,000 compensation for constructive dismissal, her two male bosses asked her if she fancied spit-roasting. The woman quit ...

Advantages: entertainment value Disadvantages: occasionally offensive, semipornographic
The Sport is a 'news'paper aimed at the lowest common denominator. It is the anti-broadsheet tabloid- the logical polar swing from The Times or Guardian, and should be taken as such. The problem with The Sport, it would seem, is that is judged on the standards of the jounalism contained therein, where it should be judged as an entertaining diversion. It contains none of the opinionated editorials or serious analysis that can be so offensive in The ... ...or self-importance like the oft compared News Of The World. Every Sunday, there is a weekly nipple count. The Sport knows what it is. It's trash of the highest order. It has a seminude woman on every cover- to coin a phrase, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Publishing the names, pictures and addresses of paedophiles is a million times more offensive. ...

Advantages: Funny Disadvantages: Seen as offensive by some
...expected to be offended by the Sport. Well, shock horror, I am not. In saying that what I really mean is that I am no more offended by the sport than I am by glossy mens mags and channel five programmes. What people need to realise is that the Sport is NOT a newspaper. The Sport is purely an entertainment publication, much the same as an adult comic. The masquerade as a newspaper is really a clever marketing trick designed to make it 'socially acceptable' ...

OK, I am not disputing the fact that the Sport can be all of the things that everybody keeps saying it is, but there must be a market out there for it otherwise surely they would still not be in production. Now i don't tend to buy porn magazines myself (especially as i am a woman!!) and haven;t got a clue as to how much they cost, but surely the sport is aimed at being a light hearted spin off from a porn magazine, and its probably cheaper too!! ...

So here's a TV channel that's been reviewed plenty of times by plenty of people, yet few get fed up of reading about it?? Why? Because it's the freeview-made-famous station Sky Sports News.
Available on Freeview channel 83 and Sky channel 405, it's a 24-hour rolling news station because, apparently, sports warrants this much coverage. Or perhaps more cynically, Sky pump that much money into their sports coverage, a 'news' channel is the least they can provide to the majority for free with having to subscribe to their sports package.
Hosted by two newsreaders, normally a man and a woman, although some times it can be just same-sex pairings, they do all the things any normal news station would do. Deliver the headlines, breaking news and in-depth interviews with important figures from the world of sport.
The on ...

Advantages: Up to date information, informative news, good presenters/reporters Disadvantages: None
Sky Sports News is a cable channel which is on 24 hours a day and covers all areas of sports from volleyball to boxing and everything in between. This is the number one channel to get your sports news as and when it happens. It covers all major tournaments and shows highlights of all the big sporting events. As it is a Sky channel you are treated to the best highlights and see exclusive footage straight after the event to capture the highs and lows of the sports people.
There are constant updates which are shown beneath the presenters on screen, keeping you up to date with all the latest news for all big things going on in the world of sport. Just underneath this is one of the main reasons I watch this channel all the time and a fantastic feature with the channel - the breaking news bar where you are treated to the latest transfers ...

Advantages: 24 hr sports Disadvantages: hubby is addicted to the channel
Sky Sports
Fourteen years ago, I moved in with my then boyfriend (now husband) and within 6 months, we got all Sky. Not only did we get the entertainment package but movies, documentary and sports channels. It was only when Sky Sports News was launched on 1 October 1998 (his birthday) and I realized then how addicted to sports the other half is and how my life will never be the same again.
So a bit of background about Sky Sports News
Initially named the Sports Channel within the British Satellite Broadcasting service, a merger with Sky Television in the later end of 1990 saw the re-branding of the Sports Channel to Sky Sports.
This encrypted channel requires a subscription, through Sky.com (see below) initially provided minimal sports' events such as good old ruggers and golf.
With the growth in viewers (and ...
