    The Stage is a dedicated newspaper for all those who are involved or interested in the entertainment industry. Not only does it publish knowledgeable and well informed criticism of performances in theatres up and down the country, it also prints relevent articles affecting the entertainment industry. It also provides a shop window for actors, singers, dancers, magicians, etc to show the world what they can do and there are always loads of adverts for training and auditions. For those interested in working backstage it also displays adverts for training and jobs. It is a very 'within the trade' ... more

    Like most others in the industry i find it very hard to find out about jobs and auditions with out an agent. The Stage is one of the sources that i use to get work. The stage is a weekly paper issued on a Wednesday in London and a Thursday everywhere else and it only costs £1 it avalible for purchase from WH Smiths. For those of you who have access to the internet you can also read online at www.thestagetheatrenews.com The paper is full of information about the industry keeping you update with whats going on, reveiws and information about drama schools and summer courses!
