The World's Greatest Wrestling Manager's...

Advantages: An interesting look at a forgotten art
Disadvantages: Gets repetitive

...based in America anyway. The Documentary. Hosted by Todd Grisham, the 93 minute doc covers the greatest managers from the WWF, WCW and AWA during their height of existance - late 70's to mid 90's. We get short bio's of Freddie Blassie, The Grand Wizard, Sunny, Jimmy Hart, Paul Bearer, Arnold Skaaland, Sensational Sherri, Jim Cornette, Paul Heyman, Captain Lou Albano, Miss Elizabeth and finally Bobby Heenan. A lot of them are fluff pieces which once watched you don't feel compelled to watch again, but there are some excptions: Freddie Blassie- probably the most respected manager ever, and a good choice to start, as a lot of later managers borrowed his style and presentation. Sunny- It can be said that she opened the door for today's divas, and surprisingly they cover her in a good light. Arnold Skaaland- He was a lot different ...

The Absolute Greatest Songs From Queen

Advantages: It's aimed more at newbies to Queen rather than die hard fans. It's still awesome though
Disadvantages: There's no point for diehard fans to get this, nothing new.

never really gets anywhere near the brilliance of Don?t Stop me Now etc) Track 13: These Are the Days of My Life Rating: 9/10 (One of the best Queen songs, so simple, so beautifully sung and as it?s the last song released from Queen with Mercury, it adds a lot more emotion to it. It?s one of my favourite Queen songs, it?s got gorgeous simplistic lyrics and Freddie even though he must have been in a world of pain, sung it amazingly well) Track 14: Who Wants To Live Forever? The song was written by Brian May for the film Highlander, and the first verse is sung by Brian May before Mercury takes over for the remained of the song. If you listen to the version in the film, you will find yourself listening to a unique version, as it?s completely sung by Mercury. I love this song, like quite a few of them, it?s been blended into ...

Rugby World Cup 2003 - Greatest moments

Advantages: Some great action for rugby fans, Extras are very good
Disadvantages: A Little rushed, Too much time spent on opening ceremony

With the Rugby world cup 2007 fast approaching, I decided to root out this DVD, which I had bought as part of a set of four after the 2003 event. As a big Rugby union fan, I definately enjoyed this DVD, which features all the best tries, tackles, kicks and performances from the wonderful tournament. However it does feel a little rushed, and way too much time is spent watching the highlights of the opening ceremony. The rugby action is good, but the chapters can sometimes look more like montages than actual rugby footage. This DVD does feature the entire Wales vs New Zealand quarter final, widely regarded as one of the best games in rugby world cup histroy. This is a great bonus, as the game is brilliant from the first minute to the last, a truly great game. THE DVD Released just after the end of the 2003 world cup, this DVD ...
