Advantages: Great prices Disadvantages: Site a little slow
...quite a few games from TheHut.com - many of them have arrived before the release date. The prices are consistently amazing and the delivery has always been top notch for me. They have some great daily deals as well where you can always grab a bargain. The offers are refreshed every week. The content on the site is good, it seems to have improved recently. They sell a really good range of products, not just games and dvds but also they have some really ...

Advantages: Good prices, and a solid range Disadvantages: Leadtime too long, multiple charging
This company do have a good range of CD's/DVD's at good prices, but the way they operate lacks quality.
They take too long to deliver items, they are sent in bit's and bat's, they charge your payment method in the same way.
Which isn't very eco-friendly and glad we use online banking as my bank statements have multiple enteries, and I don't mean one or two. I actually was guided to them by my bank through a discount card.
As mentioned, some of ...

Advantages: Good prices - if the stuff turns up. Disadvantages: The stuff doesn't turn up.
Well, I'm sure it's lovely and cheap if you can actually GET the product, but I ordered Mercury Meltdown for £6 on the 25th May. They emailed me 6 times since then saying "don't worry, it's on its way". On 14th July (nearly 2 months later) they said "sorry, out of stock, please re-order at current price" (£40...yeah, right!). What they SHOULD have done was either have a decent stock system OR taken the hit and sent me it anyway. It wasn't a case ... ...losing their margin. Result? Poor review on Ciao. On the plus point, they answered the phone quickly, it was a UK call centre, and they were polite and efficient, but no go on the product. Hut - if you're reading this, do the right thing, eh? Then ...

Advantages: none Disadvantages: still waiting for a refund after a month
I ordered an Asus eee as a present on the 5th Feb 2009 and I had decided to cancel my order on the 17th Feb as they said that they were waiting for their suppliers to restock the product and I can't get the present on time. Now, their website mentions that they would provide a full refund within a month however it's now well over a month ago and I'm still waiting for my refund to appear from The Hut.com. Words cannot describe how annoyed I am with ... ...money from my credit card before the item was shipped (which their website stated that they would NOT do), but will take their merry time to return the money. I cannot stress how much I WOULDN'T recommend this company. "Update: 12 May 2009" Still not received a refund. ...

Advantages: A neat, functional, efficient and easy-to-use website Disadvantages: I haven't really encountered any
I first came across TheHut.com through another website I use, Find-DVD.co.uk, an invaluable site where you can source DVDs and find where they are being offered cheapest. During my searches, two retail websites routinely appear at the top of the list of those offering the cheapest prices for any of the DVDs I'm interested in - Play.com and TheHut.com - and so naturally I use both quite regularly. Play.com is the more familiar of the two, but TheHut.com ... ...'''What is TheHut.com?'''
