I first came across TheHut.com through another website I use, Find-DVD.co.uk, an invaluable site where you can source DVDs and find where they are being offered cheapest. During my searches, two retail websites routinely appear at the top of the list of those offering the cheapest prices for any of the DVDs I'm interested in - Play.com and TheHut.com - and so naturally I use both quite regularly. I as a man am not a fan off shopping at all and in fact would go as far as to say I hate it. I go and get the bar minimum and get out of the shop as quickly as possible and have been known to buy a lot of random stuff in the past not having a clue what I have bought till I get home. My husband sent me a link of a game he wanted for his psp and having clicked on the link I was directed to thehut.com. thought id share my experiences with you so you can make the best informed decisions about this operation--brace yourself. i ordered 2 DVD boxsets from another company (love Film) for over £50, and they never arrived--disappointed i reordered from another company (the hut) and guess what? they never arrived, in the time between these two orders (all the waiting etc) i had ordered some games from two other sites (zavvi and asda entertainment) and youll never guess what---most of them didn't arrive either (about half actually did). i was seriously worried the royal mail had something against me ... more

This isn't a full review; just a documentation of my one and only experience with thehut.com. My experience was such a farce, I feel I must document it here as a warning to others.
