...----------------- I think Chessington is a great attraction for kids, younger kids, there is a lot for them to do and see but it does seem a bit mixed and matched in terms of rides. There are 3 or 4 main adult rides, which are not suitable for children and the under 1.4 metres, I don't understand why they would bother with these types of rides when most people who go to Chessington have children with them and can't leave them to go on a massive ride ...

Fun for all

Advantages: Plenty of rides

Paultons Park (Paultons Family Theme Park)

Advantages: Its very family friendly
Disadvantages: Can be a little dull for older children and adults

Paultons Family Theme Park as the name suggests is a family theme park. It's just off exit 2 of the M27 near Southampton in Hampshire. Originally Paultons Park was a country park and bird garden. However it now has over 50 family rides and attractions as well as some animals dotted around the park these include Meerkats, Penguins, South African Crowned Cranes, Touracos and a few others. A fun place to be

Advantages: A fun day out for all the family
Disadvantages: Hell if you have to queue for too long

We visited Legoland yesterday (23.8.2000) for the second time and unfortunately, we picked one of the busiest days of the year. Queuing times were averaging around 40 - 45 minutes, although there was a waiting for one attraction of some 90 minutes. The worst we had to wait was around an hour, which is along time for small kids to be hanging around. Legoland is split into various sections and it is worth checking out which ones are best for you. ...

Review of Legoland [TV Advertisement]

A good day out for all the family.

Advantages: Loads for the younger kids, Good value for money,
Disadvantages: Akward to get to if the M25 is busy

I went to Thorpe park for the first time years ago with my parents and loved it so I couldn't wait until at least one of my children was old enough to take. Not that you really need an excuse. Jamie who is four loved it. We went before the fire and it was a rainy day although it was on and off which was good. We had a leaflet given to us on Thorpe Park recently and they now only charge for the child if he/she is over 1m as that is the height restriction on most of the rides including loggers leap.
