I bought some aftershave from the perfume emporium in june as i could not find it anywhere else on the internet so i was very pleased i found it as it was a gift for my dad. After 3 weeks of the aftershave no arriving i emailed chris and got told it must have gotten lost in the post. He offered me a replacement or a refund so i said a replacement, i also asked if it could be delivered by royal mail next day delivery as i needed it for a birthday ... ...why! After another 2 weeks of not receiving the aftershave i emailed chris demanding a refund, he offered me another replacement but i immediately refused. This was back in august and now in november i still have no refund, and apparently he can't refund the money back onto my credit card that i paid with due to him changing merchant provider so he will be sending out a cheque and also a £5 inconvenience cheque but he can't say when it will arrive, ...

I registered with Theperfumeemporium.co.uk on 19th August, placed an order and paid for it. The order didn't arrive. I let Chris know. She said it would take 15 days for royal mail to check whether it had been distributed. I then sent another email. Chris said the perfume would be re-sent. The perfume did not arrive. They got in touch with this fraud called Chris and he sent an instant message that my money will be refunded in 2-5 working days. do not use this company, ordered perfume in earlyJuly and have been told by good old chris that 3 orders were sent to me , one after the failed arrival of the one before, bad, bad post office, i too will be following them up.Does anyone know of any way to stop this company doing this, from the other reviews , it is obvious that this is the sort of thing they are doing time and again, apart from Trading Standards, can anyone else help,Can a company ...

Sadly, my experience is the same as the other reviewers. Ordered perfume in August and received an email confirming it had been posted a couple of days later, but it never arrived. 'Chris' responded to my chaser email and 'explained' that Royal Mail would not actively search for the missing item until fifteen working days had past. When it still hadn't arrived then, he told me a replacement had been sent. When that did not arrive, poor Chris professed ... ...third replacement was posted, signed for delivery. No surprise, it failed to materialise. I have now contacted Trading Standards, and my bank, who are going to re-credit my account and pursue the Perfume Emporium. I will also be contacting the police and will make them aware of the other reviews on Ciao. ...
