Well first things first must say it's quite an attractive case, even my sister agrees, and she hates computers. Very futuristic looking, smooth lines, LED loaded fans.
It is big, 490 x 205 x 580 mm to be exact yet light due to it's aluminium build, now that's good in some situations and bad in others. If you go to lots of LAN partys I'd say pass on this case even if it is really light (6.7kg, that's light for a ... ...keep on reading.
It's size really shows when installing components, it's effortless with so much room to work in.
I checked all edges for sharp bits and came out with no cuts so that's really cool.

If you go to lots of LAN partys I'd say pass on this case even if it is really light (6.7kg, that's light for a case of this size, volume and function). Otherwise keep on reading. It's size really shows when installing components, it's effortless with so much room to work in. I checked all edges for sharp bits and came out with no cuts so that's really cool.
- Functionality -
Functionality is great, I love the 90 degree angled hard drive bays, again just for speed and simplicity. And then there's the tool-less expansion bays, no more trying to get the screw driver into that tiny space. Oh yes I forgot to mention the hard drives are tool-less too. Just use the provided appliances to slot them in. (Plastic sides that fit into the screw holes on the component) This tool-less theme really does run throughout the whole design. I think the only piece that needs screws is the motherboard. The CD/DVD drives have the same kind of attachments as the hard drives.
On top of the case is a fan hole but under a little push button panel are some more gadgets, connectivity this time - Two USB2.0, IEEE1394 Firewire, audio & speaker ports.
On the front is a dual door, lockable with a key this key has 3 positions. It has open(both doors), semi-open (only first door), and locked. The open position takes you down to the metal case. On this level are metal drive plates (once removed can't be put back on) in place of future DVD/CD drives. They even put in another lock that locks the side panal (no key, just turn the knob). On the second level are the power and reset buttons, along with the plastic drive bay covers, these can be replaced. Theres is a rather novelty light on the front too.
- Cooling -
There's a front vent slot with a single 80mm intake fan. On top is a single 80mm fan and a single 90mm fan on the rear fitted with LED's. Lastly two side fans one with LED's. All these fans are low rpm fans to keep things quiet and it does a really good job of it, considering how many fans there are. I'll be honest, I found that they didn't displace enough air in my system so things where not keeping as cool as I'd like. After replacing a few of the fans with some higher rpm fans the problem was gone.
There are two fan controllers on the front, these control sets of fans, you can change the setup by connecting different fans to the controllers.
All these things are shown off with the huge window.
- Problems -
The only problem I had apart from the fans was my sound blaster audigy ex second card, it wasn't built to normal spec. and so wouldn't work with the tool-less expansion slots. Luckly all tool-less parts can be removed and done the old fasioned way. Also another problem you might have is if you have something like the sound blaster card with breakout box that fits into the front drive bay as it will stop the front door/panel shutting.
