a little 'heavy', so is probably best suited for the Winter months if you like to change perfums during seasons. This perfume is so seductive, and is so unique to anything I've ever smelled before. It is the kind of perfume that people will ask you for the name of it. There are so many perfumes out there that you just cannot distinguish from another - they all smell so similar, but Alien is completely different. It is so seductive, and with a name like "Alien", you know it's going to be different. ThierryMugler hasn't bothered to choose a particularly feminine, lovely name for this perfume, otherwise he would have chosen something like 'Lovely'(Sarah Jessica Parker's), which shows its originality. It has a smell of cashmeran, a type of wood, with a mix of jasmine and a distinct floral tone. It is absolutely gorgeous!

ThierryMuglerAlien, if you have not tried ThierryMugler you should have. This perfume is amazing, when you wear it everyone comments on the scent and it lasts and lasts and lasts. It may seem a bit expensive to buy but you only need a small amount of this at a time as it is strong. I would say this particular perfume is more for night time, or lunching etc. I would tend to stick with Thierry Mugle Angel for during the day.
Be ready for attention when you wear this perfume as it has an unmissable scent to it. Once someone smells it and know what it is they will not forget the scent even if they pass someone in the street who is wearing it. You get different sizes of this so you do not have to buy the larger size to start with you can try the small bottle which is not expensive but can guarantee you will want the big bottle ...

I'm using ThierryMugler's Alien Perfume regularly for about 3 years now, but this is the first time I've tried the shower gel of the same brand. I bought a gift package with my favourite perfume, a small sample tube of the shower gel and a tiny perfumed cream. Here is my review about the shower gel:
The tube
As it was a sample product the tube wasn?t completely the original design, however very similar to it. It had the identical ?Alien shape?, which is a UFO-alike interesting creation, however the plastic material of the tube was slightly different, a bit rougher than the original one and it lacked the golden ornament from the top, the purple colour was the same.
