The case feels really well built and durable.
There is a hard plastic handle on the top, which feels sturdy and easily holds the weight of the laptop and accessories.
There is a metal clip at the front, which securely holds everything inside the bag.
You can also use the detachable shoulder strap to carry it over your shoulder if you prefer carrying it this way.
Inside the case there are many different compartments for various things like a mouse, a mains adapter and a place to hold CD's and floppy disks. I have found these really useful as I can carry everything around with me that i need for my laptop including paper and pens.

I would have to say though that I would not use this case for travelling abroad with, as it is not that well padded and I personally do not think it would protect your laptop from the bashing around that goes on at Airports, but it certainly is an excellent everyday carryingcase for using around your home or travelling with in your car.
I have passed this case onto my daughter now and she uses it for her smaller 15 inch notebook (which also fits securely inside this case by the way) I am sure she will get great use out of it like I have done and I can see this case lasting for a few more years at least.
