I bought my thinkpad r31 3 years ago. Now I really want to sell it. When I use this laptop, there is something wrong with the sound. when I turn the volumn to lowest. After 5 or 10 mins, it will suddenly turn to the highest volumn. Sometimes, it really scared me. but the speed of this laptop is not bad at its stage. The typing of IBM laptop is so good. The quality of IBM crust is also good. the touch feeling of this laptop is also not bad, it can give the feeling of secure, the crust of this laptop is feel like strong. I haven't drop it down, so i can not tell what it really do. but i can tell the feeling. the harddisc is really not enough to me. because i like download movies and music, there is no enough space for me to save them, then i decided buy a removed harddisc. so if you are like me, do buy a harddisc for it. ...

Advantages: Durability, performance, handsome looks. Disadvantages: A little expensive, but definitely worth it.
of the keyboard. It makes working without a mouse a lot easier and faster, specifically it keeps both of your hands on the keyboard so you can type and navigate without moving your hands. The looks won't embarrass you when you pull it out in a big meeting, either. Nobody wants to stare at a glowing apple sitting across from you. :) Apart from that, the keyboard is great and I normally get around 4 hours with the 6 cell battery.
The only disadvantage so far has been that it is a little pricier than other laptops. On the other hand, I don't think I'll ever get anything other than a ThinkPad. ...

I bought this laptop on insurance, as my previous ThinkPad was stolen and I loved it so much that I couldn't bear to buy a different brand.
In my opinion, the Lenovo ThinkPad is the best laptop you could possibly buy for all-round performance, reliability, and features, but I will endeavour to make this review as unbiased as possible, and I will split it into different sections for easy reading.
