Nice and contoured to your hand, its symetrical shape and slim sides makes it comfortable to hold for long periods of time.The sloped front and back allows it to sit directly in the palm of your hand without any aches or pains.

What is it like?

I use the Dell OpticalUSBMouse at work. I am a fan of mice with scrolling wheels and certainly I feel lost when using a mouse without one. And so it was for this reason that when my last mouse finally gave up the ghost, that I requested that our IT department provide me with an opticalmouse with a scroll wheel.
The mouse itself is silver and a weird kind of blacky blue colour which fits in well with my pc itself. Whereas I find that a lot of mice can be difficult to hold for long periods, due to their cumbersome size, the Dell opticalmouse is different. Maybe it is just conveniently sized for my hands, but I find this mouse extremely comfortable to use for long periods during the day at work.
