Advantages: Bang for buck, specs and features Disadvantages: active matrix

It is amazing...
Sleek design of black and anodized aluminum combined with state of the art technology results in a mouthwatering candy for casual users and gamers.
Well, I have tested this monitor with different applications and I can rest assured that this monitor lives up to its stats.
Compared to a 17" widescreen that has the same stats, the 19" seems much more natural to the eyes and does not stress them...
Plus the 5 ms refresh rate ensures smooth and flawless motion.

The business black IBM ThinkVision L170m Flat Panel LCD Multimedia Monitor is ideal for customers who need the space- and energy-saving benefits of a flat panel monitor together with integrated audio, provided by two built-in 2-watt speakers. Displaying clear, accurate, flicker-free images at an optimum addressability of 1280 x 1024 pixels, lower addressabilities are automatically scaled up to occupy the full screen area. The L170m incorporates IBM ThinkVantage Design features to enhance usability and complement the system design, including a tilt stand with internal cable management, direct access to automatic image set-up and brightness and a simpler, easier to follow On-Screen Display interface.
