Long term review of an excellent screen

Advantages: Quality, design and performance
Disadvantages: Expensive when new

...is adjusted for height or attitude. Recently I wall mounted them and used the standard plates at the back to do this. The old supports were easily removed and this allowed the screens to be kept clear of the desk and free up some space. I don\'t use them for games so I cannot comment on screen response rate but I have had no problem in ordinary use to criticise their performance. (I think quoted figures are 25ms which are very poor compared to the average these days. However, if you are just using standard office apps just enjoy the quality of the image). I have used them for over three years now and they have proved very reliable and offer a superb stable image which has never had a problem. I was lucky that I bought them through the Home Computer Initiative so didn\'t have to shell out for them in one go. Price at the time was the only... Read review

Review of ThinkVision L150 by Orintex

Advantages: clear images, reliable.
Disadvantages: external power supply; it's only 15"

...I've been using the IBM L150 in work for a while now, so I reckon I'm in a good position to write a review. The overall appearance is simple and functional. All the connectors are concealed within the case, keeping the appearance tidy, though it was a bit fiddly setting it up - but then I only had to do that once! The power supply isn't built in, it's an external trailing lead jobbie, which means long cables and an unsightly black box which has to be hidden away. The controls are very simple to use, with four buttons - menu, left, right and enter. (oh, and there's an on/off button too!) allowing easy access to the usual brightnes, contrast, colour and position options. There's also an option to change the language to english, german, spanish, french or italian; and a useful 'information' option which displays screen resolution... Read review
