...I would just like to say what a wonderful product The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Bath and ShowerGel is. I original bought it a few years ago because I was looking for a fresh and zingy showergel to bring me alive in the mornings for going to college. This stuff has everything you would need in a showergel, a great smell, lovely lather, lovely ingredients and just the right amount of zing and zang to get you up and goint for the day ahead. I also bought it to see what it compared to with other Body Shop showergels that were also out at the time, and this seemed to smell the best, and also work the best for me. My experience of this product was extremely postiive because I had such a good time and such a great experience with it in the shower. Although the product is not advertised as suitable for hair, I do wash my hair with it as well, and have had no problems to date. I also use the gel in the bath, and it works just as well in a relaxing hot bath as it does in an invigorating shower. The smell of the gel lasts on your skin for quite some time after you come out of the shower too.
VALUE FOR MONEY
This is a difficult thing to comment on. At face value, this showergel is quite expensive in comparison to other brands. A 250 ml bottle will currently set you back about £2.40, which makes this showergel about four times as expensive as a supermarket own brand. It lasts well, and smells really nice, but I would have to question...

...the bottle the smell is initially very minty. The mint like you get outof the garden for your new potatoes. It is a very unadulterated fresh smell. The gel also contains guarana and spirulina which are said to energise the senses. I have heard of guarana because it is in a lot of energy drinks and is also in a famous chocolate bar. Im not sure if was Mars or Snickers!!
The smell of this gel does give you a boost when used in the shower. It is very invigorating and rather addictive. The citrus does not sting my skin either which is good.
I would rate this product on a par with The Original Source Lime Bath and ShowerGel.
