Advantages: gorgeous shirts, helpful staff, fab packaging Disadvantages: expense
Although I had vaguely heard of the Jermyn Street shirtmaker, ThomasPink, I didn't know until I came across the Selfridges franchise that there was such a thing as ThomasPink Woman. Infact, there is a flagship store in Sloane Square dedicated to the women's clothing side of the business, plus sections in various ThomasPinkshops and on the website (see below). Since I dealt with the one in Selfridges, that's what my op is based on.
Within Selfridges, TPW is just a brightly lit corner, edged with banks of shelves where all manner of different kinds and colour of shirt are stacked up in sizes 6 to 16. However, what is not obvious is that the sizes are American, so the range actually goes up to 18. More about the sizing later, on to the clothes. This is very much a shop dedicated to the shirt. Advantages: lovely design bottle, smells feminine Disadvantages: Just as expensive as all other brand name perfume
After having smelt Lacoste Touch Of Pink while out shopping, I decided to put it on my Christmas list last year and very kindly my brother bought me a bottle and it is becoming a favourite scent of mine.
Packaging
Lacoste Touch of pink comes in a bright pink box which is very eye catching. The Lacoste logo is printed on the front of the bottle and the words touch of pink are written on the bottle in baby pink writing. I think this perfume bottle is very girly and looks lovely on my perfume shelf with the rest of my collection.
Price
A 15ml bottle will cost around £13, a 30ml bottle will cost you £20, a 50 ...
Advantages: smells gorgeous, good staying power, reasonably priced Disadvantages: can smell too cheap and tacky if you spray too much
Lacoste Touch of Pink is a fragrance which was released in 2004; as well as the perfume you can also purchase Touch of Pink Shower Gel and Body Lotion to layer and compliment the fragrance of the perfume. People who have dry skin and find that the perfume doesn't have particularly good staying power on them would benefit from using the complimentary shower gel and body lotion before applying the perfume as this would gave the scent a base to layer itself upon therefore increasing the longevity of the perfume fragrance. All peoples skin types are different and perfumes, body lotions, shower gels etc act differently on each individual because of the different oils in our skin.
As you can see from the picture at the top of this review the bottle of Lacoste Touch Of Pink is supplied in a tall cylindrical glass bottle. The base ...
