Cab I say that I'm not a big fan of these routers! However, they are good solid performers if you want a cheap router thats fairly easy to configure. I have had problems with them when uploading templates from time to time, which has ended up completed knackering the router and I've ended up with a rather useless paperweight.
I particually find the menu layout very poor, unlike 90% of routers where u can easily find what your after with this you can spend a good few minutes finding exactly the right page for the configuration changes your after!
In all honesty though, I'd spend a little bit more money and get something like cheap draytek or netgear. They're easier to configure and you'll have less problems in the long run. ...
Advantages: Free - it came with our broadband contract Disadvantages: Slow to get connected to the internet
with a new Ethernet cable and a mains lead too.

The main attraction is that it?s a wireless router, although that?s pretty much standard for modems nowadays. The coverage is said to be around 60 metres indoors, but I as I haven't tested it, I wouldn?t know if that?s accurate or not.
Wireless connection isn?t a big plus for us though, as I personally don't think it's as secure. As we only have the one laptop at the moment we still use a wired connection. This is of course, would be a necessity for those using more than one pc or laptop in the home. You can apparently connect up to twelve laptops/computer wirelessly to this router, and hard wire four computers/laptops in the back via Ethernet cable.
The router is lightweight and small - smaller than the average paperback book. It?s white plastic, with the front ...
Advantages: Easy set-up, Works with Xbox Live, Plug 'n' Play, Router and Modem in one. Disadvantages: Maximum 8MB/s downstream, Non-wireless.
but praise for this work-horse. In fact, I've considered a wireless home network but am scared to replace this router in case I run into trouble again. For the foreseeable future I therefore plan to stick to this wired set up.
Wireless home networks are now more common so the price of this little beauty has dropped. If you're planning on a small home network using up to four static devices (ie. no laptops etc) then consider this router because you have no need for wireless. According to the box specification, this router maxes out at 8Mb downstream. This is fine for now because I'm still awaiting 8Mb ADSL internet and faster speeds than that are unimaginable anytime soon where I'm located.
