Advantages: Kept me on the edge of my seat!
Disadvantages: Too many bad characters to keep up with and not enough information on them.

I bought this book in the airport while delayed for 5 hours. I couldn't put this book down!! This book was what I would call a suspense/thriller. It had me on the edge of my uncomfortable seat for hours. The only thing I would complain about is when the broker is in Italy it doesn't really talk much about the financial situation of Backman. Disadvantages: boring, unaddictive

...did not grab me in the same way as some of the others have done. A disappointing story that revolves around 3 elderly judges who were clearly corrupt and that is how they ended up in prison in the first place. Once in prison they set up a kangaroo court and have a crooked lawyer on the outside who enables them to blackmail certain eminent members of the community. Advantages: the beginning of a fantastic series
Disadvantages: very short,

After reading all of the Darren shan vampire saga i was expecting another thrilling read. This i was granted, however Lord Loss is similar to the first of the vampire series. It starts a magnificent line of stories, (the demonata) which i would recommend to anyone. Not a vast amount actually occurs in this book, but enough to keep you hooked and looking forwards to the next installments. It does however introduce characters with huge amounts of depth and history.
