little reason to feel disappointed at just havingTiger Woods PGA Tour 2005to pick from. Thats unless you feel let down, of course, by majestic visuals, sublime gameplay and an all-round quality gaming experience.Catering for all levels of experience thanks to five well-pitched difficulty ratings, its an incredibly easy game to get to grips with. Intuitive from the off, you can pick from numerous golfers and courses, each of which are realised exceptionally well. Graphically, the game is outstanding, and given the vast number of gameplay choices available, its going to last you a very long time. The drawback is that things really havent come that far since the 2004 edition. Sure, there are different courses to play on, and welcome they are. Then theres a brand new Tiger-Proof mode that lets you modify those courses to squeeze every ounce of playability and difficulty from them, although its unlikely to be a feature youll use that often. And as for the gameplay? It really hasnt changed that much, with those fresh courses the main attraction.Yet still, you cant go far wrong withTiger Woods PGA Tour 2005. Whilst its disappointing that the game hasnt come on too much in the last year, there is the small factor that it was, and still is, one of the finest sports games on any format. Few games offer quite as much replay value, and that should be ample compensation for the lack of a decent competitor.--Simon Brew

Advantages: New game modes added, Play as multiple players Disadvantages: Graphics look a bit dated, Commentary bug
then this isn't it. But then I don't think any golf P.C. or PS2 game I have ever played comes close to the actual reality of a trully beautiful game.
TigerWoodsPGATour 2007 is a lot of fun and still has that addictivness factor even after all these years. For my money, still the market leader for a golf game. ...
Advantages: Great online play Disadvantages: Have to buy extra courses.
, this doesn't apply to me as I am equally as bad at this game whatever the conditions.
Creating your golfer
In order to play TigerWoods to its full potential, you need to first create your golfer. There are two ways of doing this, the simplest way is to go through a series of attributes for skin colour, hair colour/style, eye, colour style, etc. This is relatively simple to do but doesn't create a golfer that bears much resemblance to yourself. TigerWoods 10 uses something called Photo Game Face which has appeared in the last 2 or 3 versions of the game. Photo Game Face allows you to upload front and side face photos of yourself to easportsworld.com and the game will then try and create your face based on the facial features on your photos. I found this wasn't all that accurate as my golfer looked orange, like he'd spent half ...
Advantages: Realistic Courses Disadvantages: No Augusta National.
With each year comes a new TigerWoods game and each year you think just what can they do to improve the game further and each year they manage it! TigerWoods 2008 has the most realistic graphics yet.
The game offers just about every form of golf you can imagine and is great fun if you just want to have a mess around with your friends; however the best part of the game lies in the career mode where you create your own golfer and go about being your skill levels in different parts of the game to a standard where you can compete with the great man himself. The career mode offers the opportunity to compete on the PGAtour with the only disappointment being a lack of Augusta National and the Masters, as well as advancing through PGAtour seasons you can take on the Tiger Challenge which involves mini games of golf against other Pro ...
