I said to myself, 'It has to change this year', so i went and bought TW2007. And do I regret it? No!
From the games main screen, you can tell how the graphics are going to run through the game. They really are great, and catch the atmosphere of many of the courses.
As always, you must create a golfer, and build up your attributes to become the worlds #1 golfer. The GameFace section has been upgraded, with over 3000 items now available, so you can customise your character greatly. It took me 1/2 an hour just to decide how he was going to look!
Anyway, after making my person, I entered my 1st couple of tournaments. Goddamn, what's this! I didn't win any of my 1st 5 tournaments! Usually, you can easily mount a good challenge on your first tournament in previous TW games, but they've finally come to their senses and realised it was unlifelike.
Sadly, as I don't have Xbox Live, I haven't experienced online play of this game. However, I have a feeling it could be mind-blowing. You and your friend in a foursomes against 2 people from the USA - Ryder Cup style!
Sadly, there are pitfalls to such a great game. I really enjoyed the new putting technique implemented last year, instead of just picking a spot to putt at. However, putting has now become a nervy business, and I regularly hit putts 10-15 feet past to make a shaky return putt.
Also, the great Rivals mode has been scrapped, in place for the Team Tour mode. This is a big letdown in my opinion, as having to build up a team of golfers doesn't seem as thrilling as challenging rivals. However, the final match, against Tiger Woods team, may be thrilling.

...is churned up by EA. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 is the second Tiger game on the 360, but is it any good? The answer, yes.
Firstly due to it being on the 360, the graphics shine from the courses to the players. You can start off by creating a custom player or you can rise the young Tiger through the ranks. The Game Face feature allows you to create a custom player just as you want them to look. You can choose the basics of their hair to other features ... ...or head in to the Tiger Challenge or even tackle the PGA Season. The latter will be difficult though as your golfer only knows the basics. This makes for a fairly challenging game. What also make for a challenging game is the new True Aiming feature. The arrow indicator (which could help you to get easy birdies) seen in previous Tiger games is gone and True Aiming takes its place. A circle indicates where you are aiming for. I recently brought the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 Game on the XBOX 360 and found it really enjoyable and extremely challenging. Its graphics are superb, I was amazed as to the extent they went with them, it was as if you were seeing the courses in real life.
There are 12 courses to play with also 17 game modes to go through, for example stroke play, match play and foursomes. Just a few of the courses are Bandon Dunes, Pebble Beach, Glen Abbey just ... ...as the game goes through the different stages. There are also the other PGA tour players who are in the game also.
All the stokes are done through the mini joysticks on the remote. I have the wireless remotes so it gives easier movements without feeling restricted. The only slight draw back is the mild difficulty in the putting.
They have a training facility whereby they give you training challenges which will help you more when you go out for ...

...love this game. Tiger Woods 07 is the kind of game that you can get really sucked into and end up playing all the time.
It blows all the previous golf games out of the park! The graphics are amazing. My partner has had enough of me constantly going 'oh god look the ripples in the lake are actually going in the same direction as the wind!'. On the coastline courses you can see sprays of water as the waves crash against the rocks which is superb. ... ...The detail in which you can make your own player is extraordinary! I made Michael Schumacher as my character and it looked just like him with he long chin and all. I havent played a game where you can go into that much detail. The only frustrating thing in the career mode is that you can play another golfer for like an hour and get the game to go down to the last hole and then if you lose then your golfer doesnt move on in his skill percentages and ...

I got this as a birthday present and to begin with this is one of the most fun games that i have ever played in multiplayer. This is because you have a few friends round and you can have up to four people on one controller; so this helps if you cannot afford extra controllers, and just enjoy the evening with you all competing in a tournament. This game generates more banter than i have ever seen in multiplayer , if you miss while putting or go out ... ...friends. Single player is also good with the new system working very well, it is very simple and you only have to use the analouge stick to direct the club, it is simple and efficient and there are no flaws that i can think of with it. There are a lot of mini games which you can play either with a friend or against the computer, the games are fun but do get a bit boring after a while and some of them seem quite similar to be honest. Tiger Woods PGA Tour is the ultimate in golf gaming, it has totally dominated in this field and you can see why when you play this game. Tiger Woods is a serious game but at the same time it can be very fun, wether playing on your career on your own or playing with your mates. The games has good amount of real golfers and some made up characters too, and also lets you play on some of the best golf courses in the world. There are plenty of different ... ...Tour mode, World Tour mode, Scenarios and traditional games. I would deffinately reccomend buying this game, you will get plenty of use out of it. There are two problems with this game, the first is that the difficulty of the game has got a lot harder since the earlier ones, especially the putting.
