After having testers of each product we where more than impressed, not only with the great products but also the well presented packaging and smells and have changed to TIGI permanently.
In our salon we use all TIGI styling products. We mainly use - BED HEAD - ROCKAHOLIC - (some) CATWALK - and have recently taken on the new range of LOVE, PEACE AND PLANET
The Product - Brunette Goddess Shampoo belongs to the TIGI Bed Head Range specifically manufactured for use on brunette natural or chemically treated hair. This shampoo contains UV filters helping to protect your hair from sun damage. It can be used daily and does not produce a build up and also helps add shine to your hair.
When using this product it has a pump dispenser like salon shampoos which makes access easier, there's nothing worse than using a squeezy bottle with wet hands. You only need two pumps for shorter hair then obviously the longer your hair the more you need but you need to see for yourself. The shampoo lathers really well so you will find you don't need to use a lot.
The shampoo itself when dispensed it a golden brown and has shimmers of glitter, this glitter does wash out though so no need to worry.
The Smell – Speaking from experience, most salon products fail to produce a smell that could be considered at all satisfactory, I have found that the smell is usually quite plain. As I’ve said above when we used schwarzkopf products the smells were never of anything in particular and once the shampoo was washed off the hair was left unscented. However all the TIGI products have gorgeous smells, Brunette Goddess fragrance is Burnt almond which doesn’t sound very nice but is absolutely gorgeous which leaves your hair smelling wonderful even after rinsing the shampoo out and this is what a salon shampoo should do.
The Price Ranges - As TIGI is a salon product some people may find it do be quite expensive. At an appointed TIGI salon Brunette Goddess would retail at £9.10. However even though these products state for salon use only they are now being sold on online stores. The best one I have personally found is JasonShaky.co.uk which would cost you £5.46 + postage and packaging depending on the weight of the product.
Best used with - To achieve the best look with Brunette Goddess Shampoo it is best used with Brunette Goddess Conditioner which retails at £10.20. Also Brunette Goddess Shine Spray to complete the finished look which retails at £10.90.

I’ve only seen Tigi Bed Head products for sale in hair salons and this is confirmed on the back of the shampoo bottle. Given this large bottle of shampoo, I think it was a hint to take a little more pride in the appearance of my frizzy, hard to manage hair which has been even worse of late in the muggy weather we’ve been having.

As already mentioned this is usually bought at hair salons at around the £10 mark for a large 400ml bottle. ... ...one being www.designer-beauty.co.uk which currently have this at the reduced price of £6.20.
- Packaging -
This comes in a tall cylindrical, transparent plastic bottle. The shampoo is dispensed through a plunger at the top which once open is a bit of nuisance as it can’t be closed without quite a bit of the shampoo being plunged out. Fine if you are happy for it to sit long-term in your bathroom or shower but not great for those who want to close ...

I recently tried this shampoo because my sister is a hairdresser and had picked it up for her work and let me give it a go, and I have to say that this is one of those salon worthy shampoos that is available to buy and take home. Its for use of brunettes and after use the results are great on your hair. This shampoo isnt cheap, a 750ml bottle will cost around £12 - £20 depending on where you buy it, though it may be available cheaper on the internet ... ...a hairdressing profesional card. I think however that its worth it to give your hair a nice pick me up and is a great treat. When applying this shampoo just use it as you would use any other shampoo, its easy to wash out as long as you dont use it in too much excess and you can feel and smell the difference in your hair as soon as you are finished your first use. bedhead is by the brand tigi which also has other lines such as catwalk and s factor, rockaholic to name a few. bedhead is probably the best known and most sold of the ranges and no wonder with names such as brunettegoddess, superstar, moisture maniac..and fun bright bottles too!
the 400ml bottle i bought for 10 pounds from a hairdressers and i was reccomended brunettegoddess for my newly dyed brown hair although it works on natural browns to bring out the shine in darker hair tones as well as (according to the bottle blurb) it i enriched with powerful nutrients and givees ultimate shine and smoothness! while the detergents used in the shampoo - ammonium lauryl sulphates - is a very strong one it contains sunflower oil extract to preserve colour and give uv protection for the hair.

I've never been a strong believer that shampoo's for different hair colours make any difference, and I only bought this product because it came free with the tigi shine spray (which is fab) but using it made a real difference to my hair which at the time was looking dull and pretty gross. My hair lacked softness and shine, it had no life! The shampoo made a difference after just one wash. It immediately felt softer and had more of that bouncy feel (the look that you see in adverts constantly).
