I’ve only seen Tigi Bed Head products for sale in hair salons and this is confirmed on the back of the shampoo bottle. Given this large bottle of shampoo, I think it was a hint to take a little more pride in the appearance of my frizzy, hard to manage hair which has been even worse of late in the muggy weather we’ve been having. - Price -
As already mentioned this is usually bought at hair salons at around the £10 mark for a large 400ml bottle. However there are also quite a lot of internet stockists, one being www.designer-beauty.co.uk which currently have this at the reduced price of £6.20.
- Packaging -
This comes in a tall cylindrical, transparent plastic bottle. The shampoo is dispensed through a plunger at the top which once open is a bit of nuisance as it can’t be closed without quite a bit of the shampoo being plunged out. Fine if you are happy for it to sit long-term in your bathroom or shower but not great for those who want to close it for travelling.
- What does it promise? -
• A shampoo that is enriched with powerful nutrients and shine. • Gives ultimate shine and smoothness. • Deliciously rich fragrance. • Natural sunflower extracts protect against colour fading and harmful UV rays.
- My experience -
• Appearance and Smell
This is a lovely rich creamy shampoo. It looks like caramel and in my humble opinion has a luxurious smell to it which does actually last once washed out.
• The results
The shampoo is easily dispensed from the plunger and having used it a number of times, I know that a little really does go a long way. It works up in to a good lather and is easily washed away, leaving my wet hair feel tangle-free and easy to comb. As for the finished look, that is when drying my hair…… This is when I became a little disappointed with the shampoo. As with all hair products that I use, I was hoping for a miracle to transform my frizzy hair in to a look that as the bumph says gives ‘ultimate shine and smoothness’ but this just isn’t the case.
• My verdict
A great smelling shampoo which cleans my hair adequately. Unfortunately I don’t end up looking like a goddess after using this! It doesn’t add shine to my hair and as for protecting against colour fading, we haven’t had enough sun to test this claim.
All in all, despite the lovely fragrance it’s a lot to pay just for the smell with no extra bonuses for my hair.

You should try their hair serum - it's called 'Rock...(something or other', it's in a blue square-ish bottle with a black flip-top lid. Smells of sweeties and it is amazing!!
