The Tigi Bed Head range can be purchased from any professional hair salon – and in particular Tony & Guy salons. So if you trying to hunt this stuff down in Superdrug or Boots the chances are that you will not find it there.
The recommended retail price for a 150ml tube is £12.20 which i think is quite expensive although you can find this cheaper is you search the net.

As part of my Christmas present from my in laws I was given a whole range of the Tigi Bed Head products. This was a great prezzie I thought! Great in the sense I had not tried many of these products before and the packaging of the goodies looked groovy but more to the point I got something that would be of use!! Presents from my in-laws had always usually been the ones that look their best whilst still wrapped!
Anyways, one of the products was called Dumb Blonde. At first I though my mother in law was trying to be funny with this one with me being blonde. Then I realised that this product was described as a reconstructor for after highlights, damaged or chemically treated hair. I then realised that she had actually taken some care about choosing this particular product! - bless! I have my hair highlighted every few months and have been known to complain from time to time about how dry my hair gets.
I first started to use this product in April as I was making sure that I was using up all my opened products before embarking upon all these new goodies I’d been given! Sounds sensible I know but my hubby did count 22 open products in the bathroom one day! Oops!
---So what is this Dumb Blonde stuff?---
Well as I mentioned earlier this is described as a “reconstructor”. In other words it’s conditioner to you and me. It comes in a plastic tube which has a sort of hologram effect on the outside and looks quite good. The tube holds 150ml of conditioner.
---Who would use this product?
This stuff is suitable for hair types that need a little TLC – coloured, damaged and chemically treated hair. Now I bet you all thought that this would just be used by those with blonde locks!! If you thought that then you were wrong. This product can be used by Racey Redheads and Buxom Brunettes as described on the packaging!
---What is this conditioner like?
Well to be honest it was a bit scary looking to begin with. It is bright yellow in colour which you are able to see in the tube and has a very thick consistency. At first I actually thought this product was purely for blondes and thought the colour had something to do with this! How DUMB of me!
This conditioner looks and has the consistency of thick custard! Don’t let this put you off though. Once you smell this stuff all thoughts of custard disappear as it smells nothing like it! This has a very pleasant citrus smell.
---How to use
Well there are a couple of ways of using this stuff – both with equally good results.
Firstly you can use this as a hair mask once a week. After you have washed your hair squeeze out a couple of 10p size blobs – well depending on your hair length of course - and massage into your hair then leave for about 10 minutes before rinsing off. Alternatively you can use this in the same way you would with any other conditioner and use each time after washing for 1 or 2 minutes before rinsing. I prefer to use it this way as it's less time!.
When you first use this you will soon realise why the tube is squeezable! As the conditioner is so thick you have to really squeeze the desired amount out which gets harder to do as you reach the end of the tube as I am realising just now!
Once you have some conditioner in the palm of your hand its best to rub this with your other palm so that all your finger tips are coated – then apply to your wet hair. I find this works best rather than sticking one big thick blob in the one place!
This coats your hair perfectly and without feeling heavy and when it comes to rinsing out the conditioner your hair is left silky smooth and smells citrus fresh! Your bathroom will also smell nice for a while too! This conditioner contains wheat, soy, keratin and Pro Vitamin B5 which are all responsible for that silky smooth feeling your hair has after use!

I love this product and in view of this I would give this product 4 Ciao stars. Loses one star in price as I feel it is a bit on the expensive side. My tube is nearly empty but I have been using it for 3 months now.

I bought my Tigi Bed Head Conditioner from a Toni & Guy salon and it set me back £8.80 (150ml) but it can also be bought from HQHair.com for £11.60 and retails at roughly £8 for an unused tube on Ebay! It is a little more pricey than your average bottle of conditioner but if you use it sparesly it will last about 3-5 months!
So overall I'd recommend all you Dumb (or Equally Intelligent) Blondes, Racy Redheads and Buxom Brunettes out there to ...

Advantages: GOOD FOR OVER PROCESSED HAIR Disadvantages: SMELLS OK, NOT THE GREATEST
THIS IS THE BEST PRODUCT IF YOU PROCESS OR BLEACH YOUR HAIR ALOT. IT REALLY HELPS TO KEEP UP WITH THE COLOR AND GIVES IT PLENTY OF MOISTURE AND REPLENISHES YOUR HAIR! IT COMES IN A BIG BOTTLE, SO IT LAST FOR A LONG TIME AND YOU DONT NEED TO USE ALOT. I LEAVE IT ON MY HAIR FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THEN RINSE IT OUT. YOUR HAIR FEELS ALOT HEALTHIER AFTER USING IT. THIS PRODUCT AND BE A LITTLE PRICY, BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU BUY IT AND WHAT KIND ...

TigiBedHeadDumbBlonde Reconstructor is great to use after dumbblonde shampoo and it is one that i would recommend for you all to use. This also somes in a great exotic fruit flavour.
TigiBedHeadDumbBlonde Reconstructor is for any hair colour and type and its especially recommended for people with coloured or damaged hair.
Reconstructor is a protein packed moisturiser including Pro Vitamin B-5 complex.
Use as a daily conditioner or as a hair mask where you leave it on for 5 -10 minutes and you will be amazed by the results leaves your hair feeling smooth and looking shiney.
It retails in the region of around £12.00 which is a bit on the pricey side, but if you are using the shampoo then this is a must to use with it, they go so well together and smell great and have put the life back into my hair that the high ...
Advantages: Does what it says, lasts forever, smells lovely Disadvantages: Only for dry/damaged or coloured hair
outlet with my other half that I found some BedHeadDumbBlonde on offer - buy the shampoo, get the conditioner free. Both were in massive 750ml sizes, for the bargain price of £14.50. This was far too good to miss, so I reached for the credit card and scuttled out of the shop.
I would like to point out now that this was in September. I use this shampoo every other day, and it is still going strong - this will probably last me another 2 months. I tend to use more conditioner than shampoo, so I reckon I have only one month left of the conditioner, but still - 8 months out of a bottle is amazing. So while the price appears fairly high for shampoo, this really is great value - I would have got through about 5 or 6 bottles of regular shampoo in that time, costing me much more than £14.50.
Justification over - what's so great about it ...

Normally i don't spend this much on my shampoo, which is why i had to be bought this shampoo to actually try it.
The bottle looks funky and its a great looking present for any blonde person you know, probably women though!
The pump aciton top is also very handy for controlling your portion sizes during application, too many people use too much shampoo. It dries out the hair and there is no need even if the conditioner is for dry hair.
The smell of this shampoo is gorgeous! Its a mixture of fruits and sweets and stays on the hair for quite a while, this is one of my favourite aspects. My boyfriend commented on the smell a few times, complimenting me.
It is a bright pink colour like the bottle as well which is cool. You only need a little bit and i have long blonde hair so the bottle lasted me a couple of months after christmas. It is ...
