TIGI Bed Head Small Talk Thickifier, Energizer, Stylizer

My experience of this quirky little product.

RRP £12.45. Although you can get it for between £6-10 on various beauty sites such as Lookfantastic.com or gorgeousshop.co.uk or Salonskincare.co.uk amongst others. There are often offers on this range.

I first started using Tigi products when I bought the Dumb Blonde shampo/conditioner in a local hairdressers-Highly recommended. I came across this little Gem in TK MAXX and was intrigued by its berry-like packaging.

Tigi is well known for its stylish packaging and in my opinion the Bed Head range does require a sense of humour, its packaging is quirky and bold as are its statements. In my opinion the products live up to it.

Living in this wonderful British climate, my hair seems to go from flat and frizzy in the summer to dry in the winter. My main problem is that whist I have lots of hair (past my shoulders) its really fine. When I was little it would'nt even stay in a bobble. I was looking for an all-in-one product, something that I could use before blow drying to give my hair a bit of va-va-voom and make it a bit more manageable and something to style it afterwards, to give it a little more edge. This product really delivers!

The product has a delightful fruity smell and comes in a handy pump bottle, avoids those nasty spillages. It lasts for ages-I think I may have had this bottle for a year possibly longer!

I use a 2p sized pump for blow drying which I find is enough for my really long hair, I rub it between my hands and distribute evenly along my hair from roots to ends. I add slightly more at the roots if I want a bit more volume. I then comb through so that the product in evenly spread. I then blow dry my hair upside down with no concentrator nozzle on the hair dryer, then blow drying my hair the right way up with the concentrator nozzle on. I then apply a 1p sized amount at the the crown and brow dry away from the face, when dry I brush through. I then calm any stray hairs down with the tiniest amount, this gives a really volumous style.

I have found that his product can also be used to revive tired hair for going out after a day at work, simply apply a 2p amount evenly across hair and blow dry. It doesn't make your hair look greasy, doesn't build up and smells gorgeous.

The only thing I would say is wash your hands with soap and water after using this as from experience it leaves a slight film on your hands.

It is also great for short hair styles, I used to have a pixie style hair cut and also had a bob, this worked for both these styles, for spiking and for giving a dis-shevled look, it is also great for using with rollers or for defining natural or styled curls. I also use it to tame my fringe.

Well worth the investment!
