Tigi Bedhead Superstar Blow Dry Lotion

...saw the bottle for the tigi bedhead blow dry lotion, I knew I had to have it on my dressing table! Its a very pretty pink curvy bottle - a little like the coke bottles with glittery silver writing, so here it sits on shelf looking mighty pretty. It is a surprsingly large bottle - 250ml's of serum so I expect it to last a v long time..which for the price I am hoping it will..

I did it. I finally caved in and bought my first ever pair of GHD's! I always thought it was a little gimmicky and another way to get unsuspecting consumers to shell out on an overpriced non-utility utility.... but three broken straighteners later I decided I needed something Pro! The somewhat pushy (for those readers who live in buckingham, will know this is true of browns) hairdresser/reception lady told me I had to have a heat protection aid when using my new ghd;s and that normal serum just wouldn't work as they were just full of silicones etc etc....

I was told the lotion is a dual purpose serum - one llike all the superstar products its created to give hair volume, and two it provides adequate heat protection when blow drying and using straighteners.

My Experience with the product:

I was surprised at how light the lotion was.. it didnt feel sticky or gunky like other serums so I only needed the smallest amount and was able to smooth it through the hair no problem and as I have used it both on towel dried and fully dry hair I think its great to use in either instances, although there arent many instructions on usage on the packaging it self (Iv found this the case with all tigi bedhead products). When used with ghd's it left a smooth finish but not a flat-on-your-head look which im also pleased with.

It cost 11.10 at the salon, but Iv seen it online for £8.50, although initially I had reservations on spending that much on a serum of all things, I am so pleased with the result I will probably repurchase. At 250 ml's the amount is very generous and should last the year as I only use it 2-3 times a week and its soo light you only need the smallest amount. really good buy and as far as professional ranges go I'v found most fail my expectations but tigi bedhead have been really good so far.
